Another ex-work horse at Last Chance in Texas. 21 years old, female, massive earnings in her race career and left at a kill pen with a halter as her only remembrance of her past. Her name is Thunder Lure and she’s vet checked to have a little one most likely in the Spring. Her bail is $1,350 and transport runs around $1200. If we can raise the amount she’ll join my other rescues here in Nebraska which are primarily ex-work horses. If we can’t raise the total or if someone else saves her, we’ll take the funds to help another horse.”
