Helloooooooo 2024!!

This year is amazing because it has ONE MORE DAY then usual (366 days in total)

What are my goals this year?
- be nice to my girlfriends (you know who you are 😏)
- more beach days
- be nicer to my sister Nala (pfff this is haaaaard)
- try to not growl at dad that much
- stay healthy so mom gets another year with no big health worries
- that brings me to this: see the vet a little as possible
- enjoy my off lead walkies as much as last year
- TRYING to be better home alone (this is what my mom wants but we are still debating on this one…)
- smother my hoomans in kisses and cuddles every day
- most important of all: bring a smile on your face while you follow my life ♥️

We love playing ball together but my favorite game is me chasing my girl and she acting or either hard to get or she is all into me 🤣

All orange vibes today for our KINGSDAY! 🧡🧡🧡

Today we celebrate the birthday of our King and everyone on the street will wear our national color orange! The whole country will be party on the streets with open air music. It’s loud but fun!

I did some walkies with dad because mom is away this year. He said I behaved SO well, didn’t bark once. Last year I barked all the time and my hoomans couldn’t take me outside for long. Well I told dad, now mom is away, I need to show her I am a big boy! 🥹 And big boys don’t bark!

Missing my pawfrends a lot because it’s Amsterdam Dance Event week and they are all occupied (or the hoomans are)

The city is also much busier and someone even almost STEPPED ON ME. Pfff..

But on the brighter side - because we have so much people over at the studio of dad, I get a lotttttt of scratches these days hehehe

TWINNING IS WINNING 😍

First week of my girl staying over ☑️

While mom thought I would maybe be a bit jealous because well obviously me only son.. I am acting really well for my girl being around! We share toys, mom, dad, sweaters, food.. (but not sharing treatos omg that never!) And even annoying cat Nala together 😋

I think I can get used to another doggo at home!

I can’t go without… the tram!

My hoomans live in the city centre without having an own car. We do travel a lot by tram to reach my fav parkies. I remember the very first time I went into the tram I was whining & shivering a little bit but once we did it more often I just knew: tram is fun! Because after that we are usually in parkie!

For mom tram is the most relax way to travel. Dad prefers the scooter.

Btw: dogs are allowed in the tram in Amsterdam (only officially not on the seats) but in the 3 years we are traveling by tram, we only told once that I have to be on the lap and not on my own seat. I told mom that he probably didnt know that I am BIG BOY who needs own seat!! Do you like traveling in the tram?

Rating dogfriendly parkies in Amsterdam!

📍Vondelparkie 8,5/10
Photo 1 & 2: Let’s start with the most famous parkie in Amsterdam. It’s big, has lots of offleash areas for doggos and also has a big dogfield near the back entrance of the park. Pros: very vibrant, easy to reach, nice coffee/lunch spots. Cons: lots of bikes in some areas so you have to keep an eye out!

📍Oosterparkie 7/10
Picture 3 & 4: Nice big park in the East side of Amsterdam. It has a big dogfield! Pros: really nice area where you can walk offleash + lots of coffee spots around the park! cons: more dirty then other parkies (trash) and a part it’s only dogs on leash

📍Beatrixparkie 9,5/10
Picture 5 & 6: My favorite parkie without a doubt. It has a really big off leash area, big dogfield and usually lots of small dogs. Big chance you will see me here! Pros: you can walk all around it and no bikes and cars! Cons: not always coffee stand available and not a lot of lunch spots nearby.

📍Westerparkie 9/10
Picture 7 & 8: one of my first parkies where I walked as a puppy. It has a really nice (fenced!) dog trail. Lots of different things here to sniff! Pros: it’s near a square with lots of amazing drink and food spots. In summer it’s the place to be! Very vibrant area. Cons: it can be quite busy as it’s a popular area under the locals too.

📍Sarphatiparkie 7/10
Picture 9: it’s a small parkie but it’s in one of te most popular areas of Amsterdam, the Pijp. Dogfield is sandy, not a lot of grass but it’s perfect if you combine this one with visiting the famous Albert Cuyp market. Pros: it’s in the middle of a very cool area. Cons: small part is off leash and only sandy dogfield.

📍Parkie Frankendael 7/10
Picture 10: it’s further from the city centre but a very nice park to walk your dog offleash. In the summer there are lots of families around to picnic. Pros: it’s very green and has amazing routes. Cons: its a bit further from the centre & often little kids running around
