ARE YOU READY FOR A "LESS IS MORE HORSEMANSHIP" CLINIC ?
Okay gang...
First Thank you all for the kind words, compliments and support during and after the 2015 Hoosier Horse Fair
We have received several private messages asking if I will do any clinics this year...
After thinking about it, praying for direction, and some discussion...yes, we would love to hold some clinics !
Looking for Hosts and organizers for a Less Is More Horsemanship Foundation Clinic.
Here is a quick run down. .more details to follow later
Usually held as a 2 day weekend clinic.
Saturday is ground work
Sunday is riding
Participants must attend ground work in order to ride in Sunday's class.
If you are a barn/arena owner, then you get to ride for free
If you don't own barn or arena but have a friend who does, and if you are willing to help organize it, then the barn owner AND you get to participate for free
Max 8 paid riders (plus the two free spots) for a total of 10 riders...less is fine but no more than 10 total, please.
Auditors $20 for the entire weekend...and..during lunch time on both days auditors get to come into the arena with me for that hour and get some close up hands on instruction and trouble shooting Q&A. Auditors are encouraged to bring paper and pen as well.
You need a sound horse or mule (no stallions at this clinic please)...good rope halter and 12 foot lead...saddle...some hay and a water bucket for your horse. Grooming tools.
Adults or experienced teens only...if you want to do a 4H Club clinic or youth clinic we need to discuss
Host needs to provide a restroom facility (indoor or Porta potty)...electrical plug (for my PA system and microphone)
Enough space in arena or barn for everyone to be safe !!!
We will NOT be riding in bridles and bits...all of our riding will be done in halters. If you are not sure if you and your horse are ready, let's discuss and then let me help both of you prepare with Saturday's foundation.
NO spurs, crops, whips, bosals, bits, etc. Etc.
This is purely about relationship building, foundations, believing in your horse and learning new disciplines.
Okay gang...so that's it in a nutshell
If you have questions, post them here or message me.
Looking forward to getting back out and sharing our Less Is More Horsemanship Philosophy
Have a blessed day!
Michael
