Stock Show Parents.... This may be a little crass, but it's true! 🤷

These summers full of livestock shows may be hectic, hot, challenging and they may test our patience but it's important to remind ourselves of the good we are doing for our children.

⭐️ We are teaching them lessons that will last a lifetime.

⭐️ We are keeping them busy and out of trouble.

⭐️ We are allowing them to make connections and network.

⭐️ We are watching them build their futures.

The best place to raise kids is in the barn 💙

Do you care to guess who doesn't win their County or State Fair?
The kids who take vacations during the summer and spend weekends at the lake. That's who!

In order to be competitive or win, sacrifices must be made. Like ... no vacation. But those that take the vacation and go to the lake, they made a sacrifice too. They sacrificed their chance(s) of being competitive at the fair.

Social Media is filled with people who make sacrifices and are looking for shortcuts to success. To Be Clear: There are only shortcuts to failure and none to success.

If you aren't willing to help yourself, the people best qualified to help you don't want (or won't be willing) to help you.
