Beautiful girl Elsa is about 2 years old and is ready to find her new family after looking after her 3 babies that are now all in their forever homes. Elsa is very loving and enjoys a cuddle and strokes once she gets to know you. We are looking for a quiet and understanding home, some one who will give her time to ajust to her new surroundings as we know she will hide for a while until she feels safe. Elsa loves her treats and food so she can be one over by offering her lots of nice treats and food. Home check and adoption fee apply. Ref L.S.

🧡 ** Available for adoption. ** 🧡
Both the girls are extremely friendly, real softy sweethearts and would fit into any home with children and dogs. They are just waiting for a lovely lap and sofa to curl up on.
Mum and Daughter Akila (9 years old), Kiara (7 years old) are 2 beautiful tortie shorthair girls that have been handed to Cats in Crisis because their owner has been unable to find a new property that will accept cats, the owner has been forced to leave her present home because the landlord wants the property back.
These 2 girls are a tribute to how the owner has looked after them for many years and the owner is devastated at having to let them go.
They are fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated neutered and microchipped. If you can give these gorgeous girls a home together you will be rewarded by their wonderful nature.
Home check and adoption fee apply. Ref M.M.

Beautiful Lulu is looking for her forever home.
As an older cat (I’m only 10 so I’m not ancient) I'm here to tell you that the best part about being a more senior kitty is that I'm already a seasoned pro at life ! You get a well-established personality who knows what they like, whether it's a sunbeam to nap in or a gentle head scratch. I'm less likely to tear up your furniture because I've learned to appreciate the finer things in life, like a comfy bed and a good meal. Plus, you get the satisfaction of giving a mature cat a loving home in their golden years, which is pretty rewarding, if I do say so myself.
Garden and safe area are essential. Lulu will need to be an only cat and will not be suitable to live with young children. .
Home check and adoption fee apply. Ref J.M.

Skye - 6 years old shorthaired tabby and white girl.
Well this girl is a proper cat. Full of all things a cat is capable of. She likes to greet you with lots of purrs and requires a good fuss and lots of strokes but beware when Skye has had enough she will soon tell you with a one paw swipe. She likes her food and is always grateful when she sees you with her dish. Since being with her fosterer she has been extremely good although for her it must have been a terrible ordeal to find herself being thrown out of her home she has known for the past 5 years. Please come and see this lovely big tabby and white girl she deserves a second chance.
Fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treatment up to date. Home check and adoption fee apply. Ref M.M.

Mary Knott.

Firstly, apologies to anyone in our shop last Saturday when we had an incident with a very agitated man shouting that he was homeless with nowhere to sleep. (Subsequent information from various authorities indicated that he was not on the homeless register and was not known to any of them). He said he had a cat but no cat food – which we duly provided. He then produced a tiny, petrified kitten from inside his coat saying he needed a proper harness for it as the one it had was for a dog as well as something to carry it in. We gave him an almost new cat carrier and plenty of warm blankets, all the time saying we would look after it until he got himself sorted but he continued to refuse saying “the cat was his life”. He then let it out of the carrier and the poor terrified kitten was running in blind panic all over the shop floor. We had to lock the door saying people couldn’t leave or come in from outside in case it got out. It eventually disappeared into a far corner underneath a lot of packaging and was finally caught, put back into the carrier literally sobbing its little heart out.
The man left and shortly afterwards we closed and went to collect our van, then saw the man in middle of the road leading to Waitrose car park, shouting and gesticulating at a young man opposite. As we went back to the shop we saw to our horror that the cat carrier was on the street, wide open, and no sign of the kitten. We then met two police officers who said they were attending an incident which we realised involved this same man. We got back as quickly as we could after contacting our friends Phil and Natasha who came rushing to help.
By now we realised the kitten was under a structure by Queens House which couldn’t be moved and it was proving difficult to reach back far enough to get the kitten. Phil and Natasha were flat on the floor, reaching as far back as they could, scrabbling away at the muck and rubbish with their bare hands and thanks to Phil’s long arms he was eventually able to grab it.
We believe the man was taken to Margate Police Station and the kitten – still crying pitifully -was taken to Companion Care vets who, without any prior warning, very kindly agreed to admit it straight away, treated it for a huge infestation of fleas and kept it overnight. It was incredible to see that after such a dreadful ordeal, within a few minutes of arriving at the vets it changed completely, clearly realising it was safe.
💙 He is about 3 months old, has been called Bobbles and is now safe and warm with Cats in Crisis. 💙

🌸 ** Wonderful news, beautiful Georgie is now in her forever home. ** 🌸

❤ We would like to say a big thank you to Pepper and her husband for the lovely donation of £50 towards Georgie's Veterinary bill. ❤
🧡 ** Available for adoption ** 🧡
We are looking for an indoor home for lovely Georgie who is just 13 months old.
Georgie is the little young cat who was approximately just 8 months old when she was found wandering in Hawley Square, Margate on the 7th August 24. She was very tired, lethargic, extremely underweight, dehydrated, nasal discharge, noisy breathing and had a chest infection.
When she was examined at Dafne Veterinary Hospital they found an ulcer on her gums so a swab test was taken and sent away to test for Calichi (Feline calicivirus ) which causes a mild to severe respiratory infection and oral disease in cats). Sadly the test came back positive which means little Georgie will have to be an only cat and live as an indoor cat.
Georgie will require a check up on her gums at the Vets every 6 months and if she requires any treatment in the future regarding Calichi than Cats in Crisis will pay for her treatment.
Georgie was given antibiotics and after a lot of T.L.C. has thankfully recovered very well and is now ready to find her forever home.
She is a very sweet, gentle friendly girl who loves attention and human company and she will make some one a wonderful companion.
Georgie has been in the cattery for far too long and desperately wants to be with someone getting lots of cuddles and strokes so if you think you can offer the home and love that Georgie longs for and deserves than please message or email us and leave your address and a contact number.
Georgie has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. Ref L.S.

❤ Lovely girl Rosie in now in her forever home. ❤

** Available for adoption ** ❤
Rosie is a healthy 14yr old who is looking for a quiet adult only home with no other pets. Please do not be put off by her age she is a lovely girl.
She is a very nervous cautious girl when she meets new people so we are looking for that special someone who will give her time, patience and understanding.
Rosie is a sweet little girl that may take time to be brave enough to let you stroke her but whilst she's learning to trust you she likes to sit close by purring for England. She is going to be super companion to whoever adopts her.

Rosie is now slowly starting to trust us enough to stroke her and she cheekily rubs herself against me especially at meal times .
She would happily live as an indoor cat or access to a safe garden
Rosie is neutered vaccinated and has been flea and worm treated. Home check and adoption fee apply. Ref A.C.

💙 Update on the little unneutered, unchipped cat that was involved in a R.T.A. on the 3rd January at 22:51
Sadly Valentine was found to have a broken jaw and a large hole in his tongue but he is doing extremely well after his surgery.

Valentine's jaw was wired back together and the hole in his tongue was sutured. Sweet affectionate boy Valentine spent 6 days at Dafne Veterinary Hospital with round the clock care from their amazing Nurses and Vet being tube fed every 2 hours. We are as always so extremely grateful for their care and dedication.
As you will see in the photos Valentine is an amazing little fighter and when he is well enough he can be neutered, microchipped and found a loving home.

To date Valentine's bill is £5,500 so if you can spare a few pennies and would like to donate towards Valentine's treatment you can pay via PayPal https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=BJTBKQX64NBWN or you can make a donation directly into Valentine's account ( Valentine Ref L.S. ) at Dafne Veterinary Hospital. 01843-260278
