By now, everyone knows Toby, mama’s little helper and taste tester. But we’ve never introduced Cody, mama’s very first dog… her heart dog. ❤️

It took mama a long time to share about Cody because every time she sees his photo, she cries a bucket and we don’t even have many because back then photos were taken with a camera. He left us at 10 years old, taking his last breath just after mama came home from work. 🌈🐾

Cody was a beagle, the reason why mama’s heart will always hold a special place for this breed. Isn’t he the most handsome boy? He fought bravely through cancer, which meant countless vet visits, hand-feeding and doing whatever it took to keep him comfortable.

Mama still remembers the day the vet called with bad news during an important quarterly meeting. She walked out to be with Cody. Her manager understood but the CFO was not pleased, to her, it was “just a dog.” But to mama, he was never “just a dog.” He was family. 💕

Back then, mama didn’t know much about nutrition. She thought expensive kibbles were enough. Looking back, she wishes she had done more for his health and wellbeing. This business is her way of honouring his memory, learning from the past, and doing better for all the furkids who are with us today.

Cody, thank you for all the memories and I love you. Even though you’re not with us right now, know that you’re still making a positive impact in other furkids’ lives through this little brand. Mama hopes one day we’ll meet again at heaven’s gate. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you the very best but I promise your legacy lives on in every treat we make. 🌟🐾

So here’s Cody the one who started it all, the one who still inspires everything we do with love. ❤️
