Update on Riley! She is doing great and is very spoiled and loved in her home. She is waiting patiently for us to have a new baby sister for her to take home hopefully in a few months. She is just the best little girl and deserves all those birthday gifts!

Matilda's litter turned one last week and I got updates on every one of them! I'll be posting them over the next couple weeks.
This little girl is one that my daughter got super attached. It is so hard not to with these precious babies. Saying goodbye to each one after raising them from birth and watching them grow is always the hardest part. But I am so thrilled when I see how loved they are in their homes. Dixie's dad sent this to me...

"Dixie aka Reba is the sweetest, funniest, spunkiest little dog! We love her so much and she is truly one of the greatest gifts we have ever received. Thank you again."

I'm overjoyed! I really love what I do.

THIS is why we MICROCHIP!! This morning Jack was lost....in Maryland. He had gone on a trip with his owner and had escaped from the house where they were staying through a partially open window while his dad was gone to the gym. Jack's dad was frantically searching the neighborhood for him and likely would never have found him. He had been picked up by a kind and concerned person who took him to a vet clinic to see if they could scan him for a microchip. If he were not microchipped, his chances of being reunited to his family would have been slim and this would be a tragic story. But, at Finish Strong Kennels, we ALWAYS microchip every single puppy before they leave us. It is standard procedure here. We never want one of our pups lost or in a shelter. When they contacted me this morning about this lost dog, I recognized him immediately and could confirm his microchip number from my records. I called his dad and he was reunited within the hour. It is a wonderful outcome for Jack and for his family.
Every time I microchip a pup, I hope that I am wasting my time and money and that it is completely unnecessary and never needed. But, I will continue to spend the money and effort to do it for exactly this reason.
It made all the difference for Jack. ❤️

We got an update on Luna! She will be a year old on February 1st. She is a cuddle bug who loves her humans, dog siblings, and even her new baby kitten! She loves swimming which is no surprise since her mom, Matilda, loves the water.
I will be honest and admit that when I read the words, "she has been the best addition to our family," my heart rejoiced! That is why I do what I do. Our goal is to produce fantastic family pets and Luna is over here making us so proud!

The puppies are two weeks old today! Every one has at least doubled their birth weight and some have nearly tripled! They all have their eyes open now and we will be getting individual pictures in the next couple days. They are every bit as soft and snuggly as they look!

Update on Lady May! She turned one year old and look how beautiful she is! She is a pup I wanted to keep for our breeding program but a little girl needed her so I let her go. She has one of the best temperaments I've ever seen in a puppy so I really struggled with wanting to keep her. When I see how much she is loved and how well-cared for she is, I have perfect peace that she is where she should be.

Yesterday we had a litter of Aussiedoodles that turned one year old! I got updates on several of those pups and will be posting them. This is Junie and she is loved and spoiled at her home in Mississippi. She did great around all the holiday crowds and is so well-mannered. I am so pleased to see our puppies fulfilling their purpose as fantastic family pets. She is living the life I dreamed for her when she was born and I just love to watch it all happen!

These two boys were a perfect match! I was so pleased when Kevin reached out to me about our Sniper. I've been blessed to have so many amazing dog owners invite me to be a part of the beautiful process of bringing a new puppy into their family. Kevin did his research, joined training groups, ordered the supplements I recommended, installed a doggy door, and listened carefully to all my puppy preparation information! (And you guys know I cover a LOT of information before I let my pups go!) Every puppy deserves an informed, committed, and loving human and it is truly a joy to watch my puppies go into such wonderful homes. I know Sniper is going thrive here. Keep up the good work, Kevin!

Our precious girl, Indy, went home to a great family who came to meet the litter and see who they connected with. Indy just loved them and cuddled and played with them. It was awesome to watch a family fall in love with a puppy right in my living room. At last update she was thriving and getting along great with her older dog brothers.
