In 2015 I decided to start my dream of breeding dogs...and it didn't turn out quite how I planned. Nala was a wonderfully sweet girl and very smart, but cursed with many health issues. I had her spayed before ever breeding her. It was the right decision, no matter how heartbreaking.

Fast forward a few years...and now we have Mabel. She just had her OFA preliminary xrays done the other day and we are waiting to hear the results. I have no logical reason to be worried that she won't pass them, but my mind always goes back to my sweet Nala and how wrong everything was with her...my fear is for the same thing to happen with Mabel. But we are going to stay positive around here! Stay tuned for updates on her OFAs 🌼

Mabel has earned her first AKC title! Now she's officially a farm dog! I couldn't be more proud of her for how far she's come these past few months. She's shown incredible resilience and a genuine passion for life.
