Please join local PETA supporters for the first-ever “Free the Animals” Friday—a powerful initiative by PETA supporters countrywide—on November 29 to protest against Coach’s sale of leather and the extreme cruelty of the leather industry by urging holiday shoppers to shop vegan.
More than a billion gentle cows and other animals are killed annually for their skin worldwide. Many of them are forced to endure all the horrors of factory farming—including castration, branding, dehorning, and tail docking, often without any painkillers. After a lifetime of intensive confinement, these gentle animals are sometimes even still conscious as they’re skinned and dismembered for handbags, shoes, jackets, or other items.
With the widespread availability of animal-friendly materials—including vegan leathers made from apples, mushrooms, mangoes, tree bark, and many other natural sources—it’s time for Coach to get on board by choosing style, compassion, and true sustainability.

📢We are a small but mighty group of vegans trying to change the hearts and minds of our province. We had aspirations of a March and now we have a team of people ready to create this amazing event. If you are interested in helping please reach out!

🚨We were so inspired by the Animal Rights March in Toronto this year, 2024, that we wanted to do something similar to bring all of the like minded people, businesses and organizations together that want to stand up for the animals.

🗣There is an animal holocaust going on right now. Millions of animals were killed during the time it took me to write this down this morning. We want everyone to feel the sense of urgency we all feel, the desperation we all feel knowing thousands, if not millions of animals are being murdered every few minutes and we feel helpless at times to stop it.

🌿We need people to feel....to care....to want to change....so we will show them what they are paying for and how many of us have already changed for the animals. There is a better, kinder way to live. We will show them.

Let us stand together as we fight for animal liberation. Let our communities stand together. Lets educate the public on what it means to be all -loving, what compassion truly looks like and what their hypocrisy looks like. And lets do it with compassion.🤗

Its that time of year again, where the bullies come out in droves to slam animals to the ground and wrap their necks with ropes while dragging them around a bit. The city of Edmonton continues to support this abuse all because of the money it brings in. We should know right from wrong by now.

And so the challenge continues. I feel like I am entering Calgary's world here with the Rodeo being as hyped up as it is. They now have it at Rogers Place where the city is making a S**t ton of money off the suffering of animals. Tickets are more expensive and the amount of things the Rodeo has planned around the city is infuriating.
I feel like being destructive.
I feel like spray painting all the rodeo signs.
I feel like being a dik.

However....I will remain calm, in public.
On line, these animal abusers can suck a bag of you know what.

We wanted to do a show with activists at the helm talking about other activists putting us down. We will not name those negative souls, we will only express how it feels and what we can do to keep our sanity outside the Matrix. We will talk about anything and everything.

This is one of the top sad gatherings of the year for me and a lot of other people. Some of us are not welcome at our family's homes, or they will be eating those beings we are so desperately trying to save. Needless to say, it can be an emotional time of year.
