Just another video here to show you how well Randy behaves. I feed 5 dogs breakfast and dinner at the same time. Everyone has an assigned spot to eat. Randy was trained to wait on a mat for his turn. You can see how well he does with that. Randy is so smart, there are so many things to teach him!
The number one question I get asked when someone is interested in our boy is, "Does he have any food aggression?" You can see here, no aggression at all. This great guy is still waiting for that forever family to find him. Randy's perfect forever home would be a home with people who have experience with overstimulation and have no young children.

Look how great Randy walks with his foster sister. His leash manners have come leaps and bounds! This well mannered walking guy can be all yours, just apply!
In case you haven't been following his page, Randy is roughly 2 years old and looking for his forever home! He needs a little training still as he can be mouthy when he's excited. Randy enjoys sitting on the dining room chairs like a human. He is terrified of jumping down because the chairs slide. Our boy will sit here for long periods of time crying and barking for assistance. This is another one of his goofy quirks!!!

Randy is convinced that the new kitchen mat is his. We share it when i use the sink. This goofy, full of personality, smart, and sassy boy could be filling your life with laughter! You only need to apply!!!
Randy is a great guy, getting better everyday! Randy loves puzzles, he hasn't found one that he couldn't do. He knows sit, stand up, paw and other paw, lay down, roll over, kisses, leave it and wait. He's the smartest boy I've worked with. I promise, Randy would be a great best buddy!!!!

Just a lazy Sunday afternoon. Seems like a perfect day to chill with your best buddy and take a nap. Randy is so dog friendly, he hasn't met a dog that he didn't like and he meets many in his foster home. Randy would be a great addition to a home with another dog, especially a young one that would play with him! In his foster home there is a mix of ages and Randy is great with them all. The oldest in the home wants nothing to do with him and Randy respects that but still occasionally tries to be friends. He's such a good boy.

On a sunny day, this is where you'll find Randy. He loves the sun and will just soak up those rays with you or without!!
We know there is a family out there, with no young children, who has dog experience, and is looking for a new best friend. Someone is looking for a dog to sleep against them at night. A dog to go on walks, hikes, or runs with. A dog who will follow you to the bathroom and supervise so that you don't feel lonely. Someone is looking for a dog to make them laugh on a daily basis. My point is that there is a family who would benefit from the loyalty, laughter, and love that Randy would bring to their lives.

Rub-a dub-dub, it's Randy in a tub!

This silly boy started to drink up all the water at first and then plunked his behind in the water when asked to sit. Randy followed each command perfectly while in the tub.

Randy went on a little vacation to stay with Aunt Amanda for a couple days. He loves the one on one time he gets there. Randy has a handful of friends that he enjoys hanging out with. He's really a friendly guy looking for that forever family. If you have patience and toys, Randy would love to be your friend also!

Randy visited Art in the Alley today since it was such a nice day. He tried to make a new friend, but it was very one sided.
This hilarious fellow is still looking for his forever home. He's got all the qualities you want in a furry friend, i promise he'll make you laugh and feel loved. Randy is a great guy who just needs someone to give him a chance!

Since Randy has been here a whole year now, we decided that it's time he earns his keep. We gave him a desk job. He found the job boring and didn't take it seriously. Now we're looking into other positions.
In the past we have had a hard time introducing him to new people, we have finally figured it out. Randy is a very high energy boy who will need an adopter who is active. We ask for a no children home for 2 reasons. 1 is because he does not like to be bothered when he's napping on the couch. I have not pushed the issue to see how he would react, we simply "let sleeping dogs lie". 2 is because Randy can get mouthy when overstimulated, he does not hurt you, but this could be scary for a young child.
I can't express how great of a guy Randy is. He's so goofy and loving and playful and just hilarious. We know his forever family is out there! There has got to be a family who is looking for him! Please look over his page, see all the great moments we have shared, let's help him find that home!!!!

Randy would like to thank everyone who is participating in our sneaker fundraiser through GotSneakers!!!
Ninth Life Rescue Center has a box set up at petsmart in Greensburg for sneaker collection. Randy would be happier if he were allowed to actually eat the sneakers, but peanut butter was an okay alternative!

Randy is hoping everyone had a great Easter day! He also wants to remind everyone that he's still available for adoption. He's such a good buddy. He's still learning all kinds of stuff and is completely different dog than he was a year ago. Even a couple of months ago. We've really been working on behavior. Please reach out with any questions. 67 lb lap dog here. This stunning guy gets all 4 paws and his little butt on your lap to chill. Randy might take a few tries to warm up to new people, but once your in his circle, he's the most loving and loyal guy you'll ever need. The video below is Randy chillin with one of his dog runners at Happy Dog Running Co. Randy has been running with Steph for almost a year now. Almost a year! That's how long he's been in his foster home. In this time, Randy has met plenty of potential adopters and it just hasn't worked out. I want to take a moment to explain this.
We don't know what Randy experienced in his first year of life. I am positive that there was no training in any form. Maybe not any positive attention either. I could literally go on for hours listing the things he's learned while with us for this year. But let's talk about what I've leaned. He just has no chill when meeting people. Randy's biggest problem is that he gets mouthy when he gets overstimulated. He's NOT aggressive, but mouthy like a puppy. Randy is going to take a moment with potential adopters, several meet and greets might be needed.
I can't express how great of a dog he is, he's goofy, playful, active, clumsy, smart, and loving. Randy sleeps against his foster mom all night long. Head on her pillow next to her! Randy is a great guy who needs a patient, understanding adopter that understands his needs. We know this does not bump him to the top of the adoptable list, but this is what is needed for Randy to succeed in a new home.
If you have patience and are looking for a goofy guy who will sometimes raid your pantry and bring you a potato, Randy is the guy for you.

Apparently Randy The Foster Dog is not a fan of the cold weather. Although he keeps wanting out to run and play in the snow, i guess he gets cold and has learned the best way to warm up. He literally warmed all the sides. This dog is so smart, i can't even explain. He watches EVERYTHING we do, with a look on his face like he's trying to understand. Let's start the year off right and find Randy's forever family!

Merry Christmas from Randy!
He really was not a fan of the Christmas hat, but we got some cute pics anyway.

This guy is really a great guy, i don't know how to show how great he is. He's loving, likes cuddles and kisses. He's playful, loves ALL toys. So when we say Randy is best friend material, we really mean best friend. He's by your side, no matter where you go. This dog is hilarious. Randy loves running and playing with toys. He enjoys being near his humans. He's clumsy and adorable. I could go on all day saying great things about him, after living with him for 8 months or so, i have seen so much good in him.

Is it a dog? Is it a seal?
All i know for sure is that Randy was not feeling photogenic this day.
I'm just shocked he's still with us. Randy is just a high energy dork. He runs into things. He falls off of things. He gets stuck in things. He really provides a ton of amusement. Randy is only about a year and a half old, and a loving as they come.
