Mork & Mindy
1 1/2 year old siblings

Mork (Tabby/White) and Mindy (Brown Tabby) would like to be adopted together. Mork is a handsome brawny fella and Mindy is a cute “petite” girl. They were returned to the shelter because of health issues with their adopter, who loved the cats but was no longer physically able to take care of them. They adjusted quickly to life back at the shelter and get along well with the other cats. These fun-loving pals are friendly and love to play - they have tried every toy in the shelter!

Meet Ralphie and Remy!
Ralphie is a super handsome 2 year old grey/white neutered male. Remy is Ralphie's "brother from another mother" and is an adorable 1 year old DSH/Gray and White Tabby neutered male.

Ralphie and Remy are the longest residents at the shelter. These youngsters were rescued as stray kittens and they haven't completely overcome their shyness around people. Even though they are nervous in new situations, they have not shown any aggression. With their similar purr-sonalities, they have become very bonded and sleep, play and eat together. With a little patience and time, shy cats like these cuties can make loyal, loving companions. Ralphie and Remy would do best in a quiet home with an older person or couple.

Frita is a very pretty calico who came to the shelter with little history. She is very compatible with the other cats at the shelter and would enjoy a home with another playful cat. Frita's favorite pastime is sitting in the window and bird watching. Hello PAL Friends and Followers! We just want to take a moment to thank our wonderful adopters and donors for their continued support of our shelter. Placing cats and kittens in the BEST homes is and always will be our FIRST priority. Our cats and kittens are FELV/FIV (combo) tested and vaccinated and their purr-sonalities are evaluated so that we can place them in the most appropriate homes.

PAL carefully reviews each application, speaks to adopters, and checks on the quality of care provided to previous pets during the application review process. It is a lengthy and time-consuming process but we are not about just adopting our animals out first come-first serve. This means that not everyone will be approved to adopt and not every application will be considered. As with most shelters, PAL has the discretion to deny any application for any reason. We do this in the best interest of the cats/kittens in our care.

It's unfortunate when people who are not approved to adopt send nasty emails and post negative reviews on FB or other social media, and while this is hurtful to the shelter, we think it just further justifies our decision to deny their application.

This is the nature of adopting our cats/kittens from a very small, all volunteer shelter that puts the health and well being of the animals FIRST. Our goal is to strive to chose the best possible forever homes for the cats and kittens in our care.

Thank you to all of our adopters who have waited patiently for PAL to review their application and match them with their lifetime cat/kitten. We truly appreciate you.

Meet Yuki!

Yuki was surrendered to the shelter because of “family issues.” Besides being very pretty, she is a sweet natured cat. It may take her a few days to adapt to her new home, but she turns into a “lovebug” once she feels comfortable.

Yuki is 2 years old and is strictly an inside companion. She has never lived with other cats or dogs. Yuki was scared when she first came to the shelter, but her lovely disposition has emerged.
