PLACED with RESCUE (2nd time)
INTAKE DATE: 19-March-2021
PRIORITY PLACEMENT - Needs vet check-up and TLC
She’s sweet, shy and absolutely lovely. So why would a family give up their friend and companion of 7 years to a kill shelter? We have no idea. Not yet. But what we do know is that this is her second time at the shelter, and AVRIL is absolutely beautiful. With her shy, yet hopeful face and liquid brown eyes, you can see that she wants so much to be comforted and loved but needs a little bit of time to get to know you. Though she previously lived in a home with young children and was respectful and playful, Avril would thrive in a quiet, calm and loving home where she can warm at her own pace to her new family. She dreams of a comfortable routine, a warm soft bed, and people who will keep her safe and loved for all of her life. She deserves nothing less, because she would be the most devoted companion to the family who chooses her. If you are an experienced foster or adopter in a home with no young children and could give Avril a place to call her own, please MESSAGE OUR PAGE or EMAIL US at [email protected] for assistance.
What my friends at ACC say about me: “I am a sweet older gal, looking for the perfect forever home! I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.”
