This is one of my all time favourite walks it’s along fox street in Colchester parking is literally on the side of the road it’s one single white line that goes all the way along I believe you can park on them as long as there is a pavement there we’ve never had an issue we used to park in the local Indian restaurants car park but it’s closed down it’s just a little bit further down on the right I’d say roughly about one hour and thirty minutes on your own maybe two hours with a toddler 😂

We love a sunset especially up east beach on Mersea parkings hit and miss there’s about 6 spaces at the very end of east Mersea after the summer holidays it’s normally pretty quiet but it’s always quiet early in the morning there is a cow field along the river bank on the opposite side of your dogs a good swimmer like mine is 🤦♀️ you might have to watch a bit closer 😂

One of our favourites for a nice easy walk is man woods down man wood hill parkings never been a problem in a large lay-by always something pretty to see and I can honestly say ever time we go on this walk I will probably bump into one dog Walker but apart from that it’s usually really quiet lots of different paths to follow but my favourite route is as you walk in turn left straight away and then follow the paths through the fields there’s three all together then you loop round back to the car wear wellies and long legs this time of year overall I’d say without a toddler this walk should take you around an hour with a toddler it will take you around one hour forty minutes
