Hoping for a beautiful summer. Horses
are loving the grass, but not liking having
water everywhere. We had a least 10-12”
of water dumped the last 10 days! Farmers
wanted rain, so their crops would be good!
Well let’s just say, they got rain alright. Our
pastures have water standing everywhere.
Our corrals are full of mud and water!
But now we are finally getting... sun ☀️

This is our 4 Mustangs going out for the
day & the water in their pasture!

Every morning we let all the horses 🐴
out into a pasture. They are out
10-12 hours every day!

Weather here in Central Alberta is some
what crazy! One day the sun is shining and
pretty warm! The next 2 or 3 days it cold,
overcast and very windy! We just can’t win this ... year!

Horses are all happy and enjoying life,
just like they are meant to do!!❤️🐴❤️

Horses were being so crazy, yesterday!
They wanted to go in, long before it was
time to be put away, for the night!
They were running and bucking, kicking
up there heals! Racing back and forth,
sliding around like crazy.. horses 🐴

Horses 🐴 and more horses 🐴
Mud and water everywhere, here @ RHRR
All the horses love ❤️ coming in @ night!
We have hay waiting in the paddocks!
Plus fresh water and shelters.. 😊
Every horse 🐴 knows where they belong!
Once in a while, one will decided to go
for a visit where they don’t belong!

We can’t wait for warm weather here @
the rescue and are sure the horses 🐴
feel the same! Bring on the sunshine!

Cloudy day with snow!! Because we have
80 acres for our horses to be turned out
on, we do ride quads!! Everyone gets turned out everyday and brought in every night..!!
They all come into warm water, hay and a
shelter!! They love ❤️ life here... @ RHRR..!!

Yesterday was the first time in a week &
a half, we let the horses out back into one
of our pastures! They all bucked, rolled &
kicked up their heals. The weather has been horrendous this winter, on all the horses🐴
goats & Rabbits! We have worked tirelessly,
making sure they were fed, watered & warm!
Our feed bill has doubled over the last month!
Animals need feed to produce, warmth!
So everyone got extra hay, many were blanketed & received warm supplements,
2 times a day!

This was bringing in some of the horses last
evening. Everyone has hay, warm water &
shelters, waiting for them!

Hope you enjoy your week! Remember
give kindness away. It takes very little
effort to put a smile on someone face!

Run Horses 🐴 Run ... like the wind.
I’m so proud of the life we have created
for all the horses 🐴 we have rescued.
We take pride in caring for all the horses,
that have been rescued by RHRR! Who
other people threw away, for some
unknown reason?? We give them a
forever life, with love ❤️ and kindness,
for each and every horses 🐴 we rescue.
We hope you enjoy watching them, as
much as we do!! ❤️

Our little filly “Lacie Jolene” has decided
she likes humans! She comes over to the fence @ least 2 x a day for ... ??? You
guessed it .. Butt and back scratches! ❤️
We are hoping it will continue to help
her Momma “Jazxy Lady” relax a little
more! Which it seems to be doing, just
that.. 😊 Lots of nickers are coming
from Jazzy at feeding times, plus she
is coming to her feed bucket!

Another success story! Adopted and left
to her new home! She was rescued last
month from the Rimbey Auction! We put
our and soul, into all the horses 🐴 we
Rescue! Her new Mom has named her
“Ritz” which is very suiting! She is a
beautiful, dark grey, with nice long legs!
Good luck to her new owner, we know
“Ritz” will be loved ❤️

@ the Rimbey Auction.
Thursday was a full.... moon
This little bundle of joy was born,
Thursday @ 9:26pm.
This video is when she first got up
and started to walk.

We left all the horses 🐴 in today!
They were all huddle into their
shelters, this am.
Water standing everywhere. I guess
we need it for the grass to grow!
But it can stop, anytime. As far as
I’m concerned and I think the horses 🐴
feel the same!

***UPDATE: Sprite has been adopted

Morning all, have a great day!

We had marked Sprite.. adoption
pending..!! She is now back up
for adoption!! Sprite is very cute,
in your pocket ... little pony!
Would ... be considered a tri-color paint!
She is coming 2 yrs old. Sprite is
part curly and has the curly tail!
She is easy to catch and great with
her feet. She will mature to a small
pony, unknown what her size wil be!
