Be it round pen work for you or your horse, pole bending, barrel or gaming work, cattle work, basic riding, etc..... Send a message and we'll set up a time. 22/05/2020

Heads up everybody....... I received a phone call from our State Equine Officials yesterday pertaining to our event this weekend. Our event seems to be drawing a bit of attention to itself and while we have the okay to proceed we are being professionally reminded to adhere to the recommended guidelines for social distancing as there may likely be a check up or two over the weekend...... So please make it a point to adhere to the following rules & guidelines.

The outside guidelines are for there to be no more than 5 people in a group with groups being at least 6 feet apart.

Bring your kerchiefs and / or masks for sign ups & such.

Sign-ups will be outside and everyone is to remain 6 feet from the person if front of them.

Open arena time in the indoor will have to be split to 5 riders at a time with 15 minutes each. The outdoor arena is open at all times.

We are recommended to have no more than 5 people in the building at a time which means only the rider that is up will be allowed in during run time. The rest need to remain outside of the building until their run(s) "The overhang will be cleared for the other riders in case of rain"

NO SPECTATORS are allowed into the building. There are big doors surrounding the arena that you can watch from. If it is a minor that is in the arena then their instructor will be allowed to be in the arena if need be for the minor's safety.

To cater to water for the horses we will have a stock tank out front kept full for you to draw from to avoid any communal touching of the hose.

Any out of state riders please insure that you have all of your horses paperwork in order.

And KEEP OUT of the building. Make sure anyone that travels with you knows this as well.

If there are any questions or concerns feel free to let me know. Otherwise lets enjoy the race.......

Just two days away cowboys & cowgirls....... :-)

Some guidelines for this weekends show..... READ THEM ALL PLEASE

-Bring your masks and/or bandanas and wear them at the appropriate times (Bandanas go with any outfit so don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise)

- Bring CASH for entries (Cash goes into the bank and winning checks can go out the same day instead of rubber ones)

-Remain 6ft apart both on and off your horses while in / out of the arena (Moody mares & red ribbons have taught us all that at some point in life)

- Arrive well before your set time and park either out front in the parking lot or in the first paddock behind the barn ( Pretty sure parking horse trailers here and keeping space between them doesn't need to be explained to you guys & gals)

- There will be no waiting for late arrivals or sign ins ( If you didn't sign in and pay before the runs start then odds are you will not hear me call your name in the line up to run)

-There will be NO SPECTATORS allowed in the arena unless it is the Parent / Guardian of a minor rider that is in the arena (There will be NO SPECTATORS allowed in the arena unless it is the Parent / Guardian of a minor rider that is in the arena - Don't forget that we have a lot of big arena doors to see in from outside though)

- When signing in please keep the usual expected distance away from me and keep the same distance away from anyone else at the sign in area ( Sign in will be at the human entrance..... If no one is sitting there to sign you in then wait longer or check the time to see if you are early or to late)

- In case of seasonal weather bring an umbrella or canopy for yourself ( I can't let everyone in and if you own horses then you should be used to it by now)

- With this being a long drawn out way to try and do this show under the circumstances please bring your patience and a sense of humor so we can all enjoy this bit of freedom to come out and play

- The entries about to be set into the computer and printed out so good luck to all of us and have fun with it

- If I skipped or left out anything let me know :-)

21/05/2020

Gold Dust Farm is looking forward to hosting a great season with some great horsemen & horsewomen bringing their endless knowledge and skill sets to our little corner here in the Northeast. The season already kicked off successfully earlier this month with the first New England C**t Starting Challenge with great trainers - Jamie Gilt, Tim Palmer, Jeremy Reid, Cliff Schadt and Michael Simonetti as well as the legendary George Peters who judged the challenge and held his own clinic as well.

Coming up next month and returning monthly for his own Performance Fundamentals Series will be the C**t Starting Challenge winner and Master Horseman Cliff Schadt. Cliff's vast background and experience in the horse world is never ending and brings with him great opportunities to learn from one of the very best. His bio, clinic dates & details will all be added in here soon.

June will be bringing Mr Wrap Snap Barrel Horses Andy Cowan himself for a rare trip up North to bring us his own skill sets and endless knowledge in the barrel horse world. His clinic page is fully updated and listed under the events.

In addition to the clinics is also Rhode Islands NBHA runs throughout the season and more tentative clinicians / clinics and events to be added to the schedule. Stay tuned. :-)

Gold Dust Farm Cutting Horses

09/02/2019

Need Horse Hay? Pick - up only on farm in Chepachet. This will be our 4th load from the same great guy and the hay is always dust and mold free and well liked by all of our own stock. I will be calling in the next few days which usually puts him here by the weeks end or the weekend..... Send me a message ASAP if you would like to reserve some for yourself....
