How beautiful can Magneto be?

The young master, himself, has been hitting the trails for his debut season. The 4 year old draftX gelding has been doing an excellent job figuring himself out with his part-time job as a trail guide.

His color is exceptionally rich and beautiful this year. He’s a looker for sure!

Magneto is the son of our AQHA stallion, Vanzi Bars N Stripes, and our Percheron made, Mystique. We are expecting another of this cross next year!

We have welcomed a new addition to the Vanzi Bars N Stripes offspring crew! Meet Rhysand! After his warrior princess mom and his king father! What a cute half-blood prince!

He’s looking like he will be just as handsome and goofy as his father. Everyone Painted Bar Stables are really excited to watch his personality blossom.

Words cannot express how excited the crew at Painted Bar Stables are to announce that Merida (Dunbroch Get N Better) has found her forever home! Congratulations to Sara Burdick Knobel
on her very own Vanzi Bars N Stripes baby.

This registered half-arabian is truly an incredibly special horse. Loved by all staff, willing to do anything asked of her, and loves to be dotted on.

As beautiful, smart and willing Merida is, she is one who would love one person to love her. Her remarkable sensitivity to developing connections to people she cares for would make the public work here at Painted Bar Stables a bad fit. Why push a square peg through a round hole when we can set her up for a life of perfection. As a result, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to her. Our loss, is Sara's gain. Once again, congratulations on your one of a kind horse.

Would you like your very own Merida? Merida’s FULL sibling out of the same cross will be due on May 16th, we are now accepting offers! This sibling foal is expected to most likely be a Bay Dun or “Dunskin” but also could be Red Dun (like Merida), “Dunalino”, Grullo or Smokey Grullo!

Just Wow!! This amazing son of Vanzi’s, Magneto, just keeps impressing all the staff at Painted Bar Stables!

For his 4th birthday yesterday, Magneto and our stud manager, Alyssa, set out for his very first trail ride - and with general public trail clients none the less!! Despite it being a windy day, with gun shots ringing in the air, and being told off by a mare in heat, this amazing dude could have cared less!

It just goes to show how amazing Vanzi Bars N Stripes babies are and how they can adapt to any situation they are put in with ease!

Vanzi’s first son, Magneto, got his big boy shoes for the first time ever! This 4 year old Percheron/Quarter horse cross, has never had shoes before and the farrier’s apprentice was even able to hot fit him. Magneto had no care in the world. This just goes to show that Vanzi loves to pass on his brain to his babies.
