Anyone missing their dog? This cute girl was found in Newman Lake. The folks that found her think she might be pregnant. No microchip, looks very sweet.

UPDATE: owners found and being reunited with their babies. :)
MISSING DOGS!
I had a gal call me about these two missing dogs. She cannot keep them (nor can I have strange dogs here with puppies) so they will be taken to a shelter tonight if there’s no contact in the next hour or two. Contact me if they look familiar and we can go from there. 🙂

This is my FINAL POST with the puppies. All but one will be picked up before or on Christmas. I have videos of the last 5 pups being introduced to a pheasant wing for the first time. The first one here is red female. I have loved this litter so much. They’re all different and all wonderful.

God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Also...See videos in comments. 😉

This has been a BUSY day. For me AND the puppies! The weather decided to do its thing today and yesterday and it made it nice for puppies to be out for much of this morning! Then they all got baths, inside play time, microchipping, vet visits, a fast nap, then play time with my girl’s youth group from church. It’s difficult for me to get photos/videos these days, but I was able to snap this photo. Usually they all come out to greet me when I enter the garage...not tonight. Happy day for the puppers. :)

A couple of the pups on pheasant wings for the very first time! Purple girl is a NATURAL! She was a little annoyed with her sister distracting her, but Orange caught on quickly as well in her own video. Gray boy seems a little annoyed that he doesn’t get to just carry the wing around. 🤣

Well...today has been amazing. We have homes for 7 of these amazing pups! Little Bat (blue female) is our last available puppy. They all got a bath before meeting their people today and I was SO impressed with them! I got a call 3 minutes in and the video cut out. 😞 But we still got a fun video.
Congratulations to all the incredible families who picked out their puppies today! I’m grateful for all of you and for your patience as I juggled all the madness. Feel free to show off any pictures you took in the comments!

This is going to seem like a weird post to some...but I just have to brag a bit. Every day I let the pups into the backyard to play while I clean out their pen. The photos below are before and after. If you look in the nasty before photo, you will notice that 90% of the *ahem* bodily functions are happening on the cardboard! For about a week now, these pups have been doing so well about keeping their sleeping and eating areas much cleaner!
Also, this is the least whiney litter we’ve ever had. Matt says it’s because I’m more relaxed and experienced and they pick up on that. I think that could be true...but more than anything I think this is just a STUPENDOUS batch of puppies. (Don’t worry, past litters...I love you, too:) Feeling very blessed.

Pup of the Day: Bat (blue girl)

This one’s a spitfire! She wanted to play with her reflection and couldn’t understand why the puppy in the mirror wouldn’t play back. She is bouncy, friendly and independent. My husband loves her and thinks she’s just a sweetheart. I think she will have a ton of drive! She didn’t love the water (as shown in her bath video), but I have a feeling she’s gonna come around with some practice. I think of the Josh Turner song “Firecracker” when I look at this pup. 🤣

Pup of the Day: Ghost (gray boy)

Confession time...this guy was not my favorite in the beginning. But I have fallen in love with him over the last week! He is a snuggler, a sniffer and a scamp. He is tenacious and silly. And he really took to the water in his bath! He will talk to you about everything that’s going on around him but not to the point where he doesn’t shut up. He’s definitely a communicator and seems to have taken the role of protector out of his littermates. I will see him bowl over two puppies that are picking on another one and it’s adorable. 🙂

These pups...I love them. ❤️❤️❤️

Pup of the Day: Pumpkin (orange female)

This gal is another well-rounded puppy. She’s happy, steady and loves to play and be with people. She is one of the first over to us when they’re all out and she wants seems to have a strong desire to please. She’s also very persistent! She doesn’t give up easily in what she wants.

Happy Monday, y’all!

Pup of the Day: Hocus Pocus (red female)

This little girl has some drive! Her tail is wagging almost non-stop (except in this video, of course) and she’s just a happy puppy. She can be silly and crazy, still and focused or chillin’ on my lap. She’s just a really fun pup!

Pup of the Day: Candy (pink female)

She’s feisty-pants! She approaches new situations carefully, then runs in with guns blazin’. She’s my 4 year olds favorite and it’s hilarious because their personalities match each other perfectly. Candy will continue to roan out and is locking up on things that catch her interest (like my charger cord 😂) I’m excited to see how she evolves!

Pup of the Day: Frankenstein (green boy)

This guy is drop dead gorgeous. I’m not usually able to capture the puppies personality in photos, but these totally capture his! He is super laid-back...a little more on the timid side of things when it comes to new situations and very sweet. We’ll see how/if he changes in the weeks to come!

(update: I don’t know what happened to the videos for this guy! 😞 they’re not in my phone anymore so I’ll do extra good ones for him next week. Sorry guys!)

Current and/or Upcoming Litter - Panhandle Pointers

Did some updating to my website...it's bitter AND sweet to be wrapping up our last litter. I'm relieved!...and so grateful for all the amazing experiences i've had raising puppies.
https://panhandlepointers.com/current-litter/

Visit this page often to see updates on our breeding plans. We like to get out and enjoy our dog, so we plan on having one litter each year instead of 2. Tally is an incredible mother...but she thanks us for this. That dog loves to run free!

Pup of the Day: Spook (black male)

This guy...he is so laid-back. He loves to sleep and loves to play. When he’s in play-mode, he is constantly using his nose. He switches between sniffing something out and frolicking over into my lap, then back again. I like him. And I LOVE the big patch going down his back leg!

It was warm enough for us to venture outside with the pups! They seemed to love it despite the cold everybody is safe and happy...and accounted for. 😂 More videos in comments

This will be my toddlers new home because our garage door can’t keep him out. He and the puppies seemed pretty pleased with the situation. Crazy days are ahead!

Pup of the Day: Spider (purple girl)

She’s super playful, but not overly dominant. I LOVE her coloring and even more than that, I love how great she is with my kiddos. She was super calm in the bath which was fun...she doesn’t seem overly concerned with new things. Just a sweet, quiet-minded pup!

What to Expect:

Each puppy will have their dew-claws removed and their tails docked to keep with the AKC breed standard. This is done within the first few days of life before the puppy’s nervous system is fully developed. That way there is minimal pain and trauma. The pups will all be exposed to cuddling, playing in water, wings/birds, loud noises, etc.

When you take your puppy home, you will also get the pup's vaccination/deworming records, AKC application, microchip number, a small bag of dog-food and a scrap of the blanket they had with their litter-mates.

The pups are $800 with a $150 non-refundable deposit. Your deposit will hold your place in the picking-line, so if you are the first to put in your deposit on a male, you will have the first pick of the litter (same with females). Second deposit, second pick, and so forth.

You will be required to sign our purchase agreement. This will protect the buyer, seller and puppy and will help to clarify any questions you may have.
