Eddy took his last breath today. He was 13 years old. A great friend to his human, and many others in the community. May he find many squirrels to chase in his afterlife.

When the snow was all gone, we get hit by a late snow storm. Nevertheless we cleared some trees leaning precariously over our favourite trail. This 50+ year old poplar had to go. No squirrels were hurt during this endeavour.

We hiked to the bog on our land. The curious chickadees were following us and I harvested some Labrador tea. It may be wet and cool this time of year, but there is no mosquitoes!!!!
