In 1987, SyrVet founder Daniel Klein relocated from his home country of Argentina to start a business specializing in veterinary supplies. Vowing that his company would be based on the principles of quality products, reasonable prices, fast shipping time, and competent customer service, SyrVet began in the basement of a St. The first products offered by SyrVet were reusable needles, pistol-grip sy

ringes, and drenchers. As sales increased, SyrVet quickly outgrew the basement and a new location was needed. Business continued to grow and a larger location was needed. In 1993 SyrVet moved to Waukee, Iowa into our newly constructed 5,000 square foot building. Over the next decade business rapidly expanded and we once again outgrew our space. During 2005, SyrVet purchased property across the street. A new building with nearly 50,000 square feet of warehouse space was built and in the spring of 2006 we moved in. In addition to our Waukee home, offices have been opened in Argentina, Canada, and China. Today SyrVet, Inc. employs 25 people, carries more than 3,500 products, and ships to over 40 countries worldwide. SyrVet has always listened to what our customers are asking for and responds with high quality products at an affordable price. If there is not a product on the market that is meeting the customers demands, SyrVet maintains our tradition of practical innovations and will find a way to meet that demand. One of our most successful innovations was to color-code reusable hypodermic needles by gauge in a self-storing three-pack. This idea proved so beneficial that we began color-coding our pistol-grip syringes. The principle behind this was to avoid mistakes when administering multiple inoculations to herds. With different medications identified by different colored syringes, there is confidence each animal receives the proper injections. These products continue to top our best sellers list. Over the last 25 years Mr. Klein has maintained his vow to provide quality products, reasonable prices, fast shipping, and excellent customer service. From humble beginnings in a Missouri basement to a growing global business, SyrVet continues to be a leader in animal health care products and accessories for veterinary and farm use.
