Cyrus Jones PT
Cyrus Jones has IVDD (intervertebral disc disease).
He attends Physical Therapy Sessions every week at our Manchester office.
In this video, Ami is helping him with a figure 8 excercise which helps in multiple ways:
~It helps him bend his body which helps stretch muscles and works on coordination.
~It also encourages weight shifting, which engages and strengthens muscle throughout the body.
~They will change directions throughout this exercise, so it is a full body exercise and can be used for a variety of conditions. 💙🐾💪
Please call our office at (717) 767-0180 to set up a PT consultation with Dr. Owings if you have a pet that could benefit from PT!
Rufus lost both of his eyes last year. As you can see, he can still impress us with his tricks with the help of his Mom's touch and voice. What a good boy! 💙🐾

While Frito was here for his appointment, he was very comfortable sitting in the window perch and watching the birds outside. 🐦🪟
Did you know that cats love perches because it gives them a safe place to watch the action from above⁉️
Placing a perch at the window allows your cat to watch the outdoor scenery from above. To make the scenery more attractive you can hang a bird feeder and/or plant flowers to attract insects. 🐝🌻🦋

Are you ready for a “Feel Good” post? 🥰
Friday morning our west team arrived to a cat in a trap at our front door! 😳
Once we got the sweet kitty settled in, we scanned for her a microchip and found that she had one! 👏🏻
We called the microchip company and found out her name was Lilo and she was a 3 year old spayed female and got the information linked to her owners.
Her family was found and we found out they have been looking for Lilo for 3 months! 😳 They have children at home that have been missing her very much.
Watch this super happy reunion! 🥹

Way to go team!! 🐾❤️

Puppy class sneak peak: Puppy class recess action
You can see that Jelly Bean is totally excited about playing with a new friend and that even though Togo can retreat if he wants, he is coming back for more because he is having so much fun.
Wendy monitors the dogs body language so that she can tell when the pups need a break.
