I honestly can’t believe how many lives we have brought to safety the last few weeks! Our dog-loving state has really shown up for these furry friends in so many awesome ways💜

That being said, we have a few fosters with travel plans coming up. Some current fosters stepped up temporarily just so we could get our all tagged doggos and kitties to freedom, but can’t commit long-term. We are so appreciative for the time everyone has committed🙏🏼

These animals are already in our care, and we’re more than happy to tell you everything we know about them so far! They need somewhere to go…can you open your home while they wait for their forever home?🤗

Our next foster orientation is tomorrow night (Tuesday 6/10) at 7pm. You’ll learn all you need to know and get to ask any questions you may have! We also have foster mentors and can assign you one if you’d like extra guidance. We’re all about the teamwork🫶🏼

Hiking, swimming, breweries, farmer’s markets?! Or the quieter activities like finding a shady spot at the park to read a book or take a nap🪁🏖️🏕️🌳

If you are planning to come meet our pups tomorrow, please bring your photo ID 🪪 and rental pet policy or mortgage! 🏡

You must fill out an application prior to any meet ‘n greets with our puppies who aren’t leash walkable yet🐶

Come meet these pups 5 months-1 year old this Saturday at Petco! A lot of them have been waiting for a while…🥺

It makes sense to want a puppy straight from a shelter who hasn’t been “traumatized by humans”, but many of these teens have never known anything outside of cement walls. Some of these teens have spent their entire lives in a shelter, and have continuously been overlooked. 🥲❤️‍🩹

This doesn’t make them “bad dogs” and it certainly doesn’t make them “un-adoptable”

The perk of adopting from a FOSTER-BASED RESCUE, is that they are adapting, learning, and getting trained from the moment they come into our care.

Adult doggos and mommas! These are our diamonds in the *ruff*!

When we picked them up from their HKS, and then placed them in foster homes…we only knew we were taking them from a cement cell with an uncertain fate. We don’t know their every mannerism. Fosters who take in adults, no questions asked—we have so much appreciation for you!

We do what we do to find the best and *permanent* homes for these pups.

If adopting isn’t in the cards for you right now, we get that! The reality is dogs (and cats) are dying every day. If you could commit your heart to fostering, we would be so grateful!🥹

Check these purrrfect cuties out!! Most of our kitties are in our 3 habitat locations (make sure to look at the specific store location in each slide!), some are in foster homes and we have a BUNCH of cats, moms, and kittens coming soon🤗😻

You can meet our habitat kitties anytime time the store location is open. They are eager to play and get affection—definitely not trying to win you over and go home with you😉
