We are short 4 fosters for tomorrow's intake (Thursday 4/24), and lives are hanging in the balance.

Just now, Daisy's committed foster backed out, leaving her without a safe place to go. This puts us—and her—in an incredibly dire situation. Without immediate help, Daisy and others could be left behind… and that could mean the end of the road.

Jasper came to us from a small rural NM shelter with his brother, stuck in a place without the resources to help they were sure to be lost. We were called. Suffering from skin ailments and severely malnourished, RMPR swiftly moved into action with our Vet and foster team. After weeks of great nutrition and bi weekly baths he is ready for his neuter and subsequent adoption. This beauty would be LOST without fostering. You can be their HERO. Whether you’re a seasoned foster or brand new, we’ve got you covered — we provide all supplies, including food, crates, bedding, toys, and vet care. All you need to give is a safe space and a whole lot of love. Commitment is until your foster animal is adopted! We will connect you with a foster mentor to provide advice and help when you sign up to foster! Support is abundant and consistent from the get go! 💕

💔 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR JEMEZ 💔

We’ve just taken in a heartbreaking rescue case from a NM Pueblo, and we need your help urgently!!!!

Meet Jemez — a sweet, resilient pup who was found with his foot caught in a trap. Tragically, he was stuck like that for over 30 days before anyone could reach him. By the time we were able to arrive on the pueblo and assess, his paw had become so severely infected that it had FALLEN off.

Thanks to the compassion of Espanola Humane in NM, he’ll be getting the life-saving surgery he needs — but Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue is covering the full cost, and we need to move quickly.

Here’s how you can help:

We’re looking for a calm, loving home to foster Jemez starting Thursday April 10th, after his surgery. He’ll need a quiet place to heal, feel safe, and know what love is.
