Piglet has moved up in the world! She is now known as Piglet Grace, become an experienced traveler, and a puppychino connoisseur. Way to go Piglet Grace!

Piglet was adopted yesterday. She has an incredible future ahead of her with a wonderful family. She will have the undivided love of an entire family, go on daily walks, take trips to the mountains, go hiking and hang out with her family wherever they go. I will miss my little Piglet horribly but am so happy she has found the perfect family.

We've come a long way ! It's peaceful in the house once more, but I have to keep an eye on our little Piggy, to Keep her from harassing Diamond girl. We are still searching for the perfect forever family, where Piglet can be queen and doesn't have to Share her love. Or her bed! 😄

Our Piglet is still in limbo. Only one person has inquired about her. She's such a wonderful dog. So she has a few flaws......don't we all?

Piglet Update

Piglet (aka Ramiel) is still looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention, but the situation here at the house has improved immeasurably and all are living under a tentative truce for now. Thank goodness! I wish I could say it's all in the past, but it's only constant supervision and lots of time out's that are keeping the peace.

We'll be back at adoption events once restrictions are lifted, but in the meantime, Piglet has been staying in shape with the tennis ball retrieval program, wild romps in the yard and a soup bone diet.

Piglet and I are so grateful for your support, kindness and understanding during this sad time. We've been working with Piglet and although her attitude towards her sister has improved, they can only interact under close and constant supervision.

Piglet is once again a member of the Angels Among Us family and has been reinstated under her AAU name Ramiel, although she'll remain with us as a foster. With AAU's network and resources, I just know we will find the perfect home for her.

Once again, we can't thank you enough for your support.

Took this photo moments ago of Piglet snuggling with her sister Pearl, who is very submissive. They have always gotten along but Pearl is meek and non-challenging. Piglet isn't aggressive to all dogs, just those that challenge her role of top dog. I see this and think maybe I can make it work, but then I see Piglet react to the others and realize she will never accept them as she does Pearl. and my heart breaks again.

I have to rehome Piglet.

My heart is broken, and I am completely devastated, but I have to do what’s right for Piglet and the rest of the family. Since the death of my (alpha) mastiff and the onset of Piglets epilepsy, she has become increasing aggressive to the other dogs, escalating in a serious fight last weekend.

After much soul searching, endless tears and advice from her vet and others, I have to accept Piglet needs to be an only dog.

You all know Piglets history, and I hope I’ve managed to convey how wonderful she is. Piglet is loyal and loving and gentle and sweet and playful…..everything a person could want in a companion. Her only fault - she needs 100% of her persons love.

I am sharing this because I need your help. I love this dog with all my heart and if I have to lose her, I have to know she’ll be loved and treasured and never know another day of sadness.

I am in communication with Angels Among Us rescue, to work out the details, but please…….if you know of a family that will love her and give her the best life possible, please reach out to me.

It's been a very long time since Piglet has shared an update or photo and she feels bad about that. We've been grieving the loss of big sister Sophie, who left us on Thanksgiving. It's been very hard the last six months but now a new light has brightened our home. Her name is Diamond. Piglet is now the big sister and helping Diamond adjust to her new life.
