Many of you have asked…”Where are the lambs?” And this is the reason… this guy right here. He decided to take the early retirement package. We only got one, one lamb that we had planned on keeping. Now I’m in search of a new father of the flock. But before you start boombarding me with questions about Tyrone, don’t worry. He’s a fixture. He can have his buddy and retirement package as long as he wants. He’s earned it. Tyrone was the father of four seasons of beautiful lambs. It will be hard to find his equal. ❤️

It's a cold day! And a cold night expected. Seems like there's more to do outside when it's cold: carrying hot water to the barn so they can drink for several hours without it freezing, straw in the stalls, feed and plenty of hay. Everyone seems content! Barn is closed up, and everyone seems cozy, although there is still good ventilation. I'll clean it all up when the weather gets warmer.

Said goodbye to this sweet little lamb as she went to live with a great family. It was sweet to care for her, but she can’t go to work with me on Monday. She was rejected by her mother, Clover, because my other ewe, Lucy, lambed at the same time and their babies got mixed up. She is greatly loved. We called her Callie.
