Spaniel Bowls & Pottery by Hannah Dingman Special bowls for your special dog! I make bowls for your long eared family members but I can make a I am a cavalier lover and hobby potter.

Last but not least! I picked up the Best Of Breed bowl this morning after the final low fire with the gold lustre band for the CKCSC of Greater Atlanta specialty next weekend! I had a yellow band around it but I just wasn’t loving it so I bit the bullet and bought the lustre and prayed to the pottery gods for no mishaps! These are ready to be packed up for my road trip! 🎉💕

This is the first time I’ve attempted to do sunflowers on a bowl 🌻 After hours spent throwing, trimming carving and painting this bowl the dreaded crack in the bottom appeared in the final drying process. Pottery is an unpredictable process sometimes! Starting again!

Productive day! CKCSC of Atlanta prizes are all glazed and ready to fire! 🔥🎉 A watermelon bowl in progress! 🍉 Did a bit of organizing before starting on a few custom orders and some bowls for the Badgerlands specialty in October! I am so happy to have my new studio right here at my home so I can work and stay with the pups 💕

After quite some time not being able to make pottery I am finally all set up at home in a dedicated building for my hobby! It felt so good to spend some time in my studio today, I am working on some prizes for the CKCSC of Greater Atlanta specialty in August as well as some bowls for the Badgerlands Specialty in October!

Sorry I have been unresponsive to messages and posts! I moved my studio home to my garage in October with the intention of setting everything up to work from home but a broken hot water pipe had other plans for me. I am working on making space again now that construction is complete and some sort of a normal routine is back in my house. Hopefully I’ll be able to start throwing again soon!

Just a couple more pieces to come out of the glaze fire and this order is ready to box up! I really love the colbalt and jade combination that the Great Lakes Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club chose for their trophies! The Celedon glazes settle so nicely into the carved details!
