Rip was one of my favorite dogs I was able to help train. He is a young pup with an old soul and gave the best anxiety and PTSD interruptions and would just sink his whole self into you. We are both proud and saddened to see him go. He will make a difference in his veterans life.

Here is Little Boy Rip (named in honor of one of our fave tv shows - ifykyk!)! He is getting close to graduating his service dog training and will be heading to Colorado soon! ❤️🐾

Congratulations to Kelly and goose. Goose effortlessly passed her K9 good citizens test and is a week away from taking her public service access test. From there we promote her from service dog in training to service dog. We are very proud of her. Keep up the great work.

There are many studies that show the major issues of using shock collars for training your k9. Research shows that the use of shock collars have long lasting psychological affects including increased anxiety, agression, and aversive behavior toward owners.

Research also shows that it is a less affective way to train your k9 companion.

Infact many countries have already banned the use of e collars for the reasons stated above.

Here at Valor k9 training we strictly and only use positive reinforcement. Through the reward system we build trust and confidence which inturn leads to success in our k9 family.

In our opinion, after all the research reading and studying we have done, there is only one positive to E collar training. It's cost affective.

I would never throw my child on this mountain without preparation first. I built her up, not just physically but mentally aswell. I want her to succeed so we started off small. Why? Meet goose.

Goose was already a well trained girl whose owner wanted her to become a service dog.

Goose completed her Valor K9 training a week ago.

After teaching and refining a few of her commands as well as working with her in public, Goose is officially ready to take her test and become a certified service dog. We are extremely proud of her and her owner for a job well done.

Meet Jynx.

Jynx entered our training sessions due to aggressive behavior. It was so bad her owner believed they were not going to be able to keep her.

Today Jynx completed her Valor k9 training. She is no longer shy, she is extremely confident in herself, obeys commands immediately and no longer showing any aggressive traits. She even learned a few tricks along the way. We are extremely proud of her and her owners hard work. Chelsie Lee

If you have a reactive dog much like Savannah here. I can teach them leave it. I train leave it in such a way that if it is another dog, food, cat... whatever they are focused on at the moment, there focus will come back to you or the task at hand.

Walking your dog is great for your dogs health and nothing is better than walking with a loose leash. This is 100 percent trainable and if you would like to walk your dog the same way. Shoot us a call.

So This young Shepard has been having behavioral issues when it comes to food. She used to steal food straight out of the owners hand while eating. With one training session, I was able to put treats between her legs and get her to ignore it.
