She was colicky this morning. Vet came out gave her fluids but she’s not bouncing back. 🥲
Sally is 29 this year.
She was saved in 2017 from the auction. She lives at the neighbor as a companion horse. 💕🙏

aka Cookies Joy.
In 2015 she went thru the livestock Eugene OR auction. She wasn’t published online but her mother was Ms Fortune Cookie. The local arabian rescue went to the auction. I paid for Ms Fortune Cookie but no one but the feedlot buyer bid on Cookies Joy nor did the rescue I had given funds to for her mother. 🫤 nor did they even help other arabian horses sent that day. Once I found that the feedlot guy had bought all the other Arabians we worked hard with multiple private individuals to buy them. Jewel was the one that came to CAER. Once we ran DNA testing and found the back story it was frustrating but we were unable to get her AHA papers as the owner on her papers passed and couldn’t locate anyone that could help us get her papers. She doesn’t have a sponsor !
We really need more sponsors for our retired mare herd 💕
