I'd like to thank Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) for their sponsorship of the show. It's awesome to have them supporting life after racing for these beautiful versatile horses, especially in western disciplines.
Missy came home with 2 High Point awards & 1 Runner Up High Point award for the Ranch Show Saturday & also 4 x firsts in 4 classes on Sunday's show. This was her first show after 6mths off due to rain & floods & finally able to come back into work very recently. She has so much try & heart, always wanting to please โค Thanks to Cen feed & products we had lots of lovely comments over the weekend ๐

Horses and us are ok. They're a bit over the fluctuating flood level but hopefully the worst is over. Bit of water through the shed and garage, one fence down, got another pool out the back yard but we're ok ๐

Our lil herd finally out together after all the wet weather, helping me keep the grass down seeing as we're now mowerless. Snick is the best whipper snipper, Koda is the best lawn mower out there. Fatty boombah land whales they are. They're all looking so amazing thanks to nutrition - feed & products ๐๐

It's nice to see everything so green but we've seriously had enough rain for a bit now, the horses need to come back into work so hopefully the rain goes to those who need it most ๐ค

There's times in your life, where you're meant to meet like minded people & this is certainly one of them. After not having such a great show at CG & knowing I wanted to prove how proud I was of Missy & all she's achieved, Emma went & presented us with a beautiful little keepsake (which will stay with her through her life after racing journey) plus a little keepsake for us to cherish & remember what we personally achieved ๐งก it's not often someone is on the same wave length but I am so very grateful we see eye to eye & can be proud of what this horse has achieved in such a short time frame. After all, it's about the horse not us, we can just help the process. Thanks Emz ๐โค your support & friendship means so much to me, thank you for always being there & "gettin what I'm putting down" ๐โค Here's to the horses & great friendship ๐๐ป

Missy is starting to get dapples ๐คฉ she's not under lights & most of the time isn't rugged during the day as she gets hot easily, which isn't great when the flies annoy her so much, even if she's sprayed everyday.
Anyone got a spray that actually works for horses who are highly prone to be hassled by flies? It's gotta be good & effective. I've literally tried everything on this mare & nothing seems to work
When you have to wait for the ex race horse to wake from her morning siesta before you can start work on the property
Miss Priss - 2 weeks spell so far ๐ dusty, dirty, sweaty, after 2 days of rain & in need of a bath. Gotta love Cen products & that shine ๐
Just had to try get a photo of her under the Jacaranda while it's flowering but the phone camera just doesn't cut it
