THE '~LIVER SHAKE~' FOR SICK CATS

This liquid food is appropriate for cats suffering from conditions where they are eating very little or not at all such as anemias, leukemias, deficiency states with symptoms of lethargy, listlessness, and weakness.

1 cup RAW LIVER (BEEF, or CHICKEN)
1 cup FRESH CARROT JUICE or V-8, or Tomatoe Juice
1/4 cup *FRESH FILTERED WATER
1 RAW EGG YOLK
1 tsp.KELP POWDER OR SPIRULINA


COMBINE AND MIX IN A BLENDER UNTIL LIQUIFIED. (Note: it will be frothy)

Dosage:

Administer lOcc daily 3-6 times a day. (6Occ per day max)

Some cats will need to be force-fed with a syringe, while others will drink it out of a bowl.

This food has a sweet and salty taste, and the energetic properties of tonifying (energy boosting), warming and stimulating and supports the kidneys, spleen, liver and stomach.

This drink is a complete dinner for a sick cat until they feel good enough to eat by themselves again.

*Substitute rice water if the cat has diarrhea. Rice water
is made by boiling white rice (2 Tblsp) with water (1cup) for 30 minutes.
This liquid aids digestion and assimilation and inhibits the symptoms of diarrhea.

Of late many pop singers have sprung in Pakistan to gain recongnition in the world of music,like mushrooms in the rainy season. A giant who has a distinct and different style of his own has wriggled out among the others to make himself recongnised as a shinning star in pop music. He is the craze among the young generation be it television,concerts or abroad.
He was born on December 27th’1985 in Karachi. His father being a business man ultimately decided to settle down in Lahore. As such now Falak has his base over there. Abida Perveen is a great source of inspiration to him. Though his basic assignment was of T-shirts and guitars by the name of Falak Guitar.Falak was only 12,when he gained deep interest in music.He got skilled in playing guitar and singing himself. Falak came out with flying colours. Music which intially was his hobby and past time became his profession.
His first video to appear on the tube was ‘ROG’ in 2008. Swaying to his own music,since then there has been no looking back. Youngsters from every nook and corner of the country,where there is pop music is appericiated,Falak is a well-known name.
Falak is a must on different music channels and MTV. ‘ROG’ was nominated for TMA followed by his super hit romantic number ‘TERA SATH HO’ which was nominated for MTV and the videos were directed by Nasir Siddiqui. Ever since he has been entertaining the masses.
He has not been on the scene for a very long time but after two super hits ‘ROG’ and ‘TERA SATH’ were released,he has become the darling of millions. The third number ‘Mahiya’,a dance number forces the audience to join him in the auditorium. Since ‘ROG’ was released on Feb 14th’2010. He is new in the world of music but shows his talent,style and his firm grip on music with each passing day. He has a very long way to go,thirilling the audiences and his fans with his rich and melodious voice.
Lets wish this young,talented singer for everything. Falak is indeed a gift for the music industry of Pakistan,and by God’s blessings and fan’s love,he will rock the world and will make Pakistan proud!

How do I choose a healthy kitten?


It's always worth spending time carefully checking your prospective pet, to ensure that they get off to the best possible start in life.

Here's what to look for:

Eyes : should be clear and bright. No discharge and no sign of the third eyelid.

Nose : should be slightly damp but no discharge.

Teeth : should be straight and meet top and bottom.

Ears should be clean and free from discharge.

Coat : glossy with no signs of dandruff or flea dirts.

Bottom should be clean with no signs of diarrhoea.

Tummy should be slightly rounded, not bloated or hard.
The kitten should be alert and friendly, happy to be handled.

If he is a pedigree, ask about any breed-related problems.
A caring, knowledgeable breeder will not allow a kitten to go to his new home until he has had his vaccinations. This will be at around 12 to 13 weeks.

What are the house rules for a new puppy?

Before you collect your puppy draw up a set of house rules that all occupants (and guests) must abide by. This can include things such as not feeding scraps from the table and not allowing him onto the furniture. If these rules are kept then the puppy will experience consistent behaviour and avoids any confusion.

How to handle a puppy :

Show your children how to best stroke and handle the puppy and talk to them about the importance of these early months in the formation of his character. If children are rough and aggressive towards a puppy, the dog will continue to see children as a threat into their adulthood. With careful management, owning a dog can be a great education and loving companion for your children.

Puppy toilet training:

Many pups manage this with very little trouble as they do not want to soil their own sleeping areas. However, it helps to have good practice in place from the start.

*Choose a spot in the garden where you want your pup to toilet and take him there at regular intervals. Don't make it too far from the back door!

*Always take him outside first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and after eating, drinking and playing.

*When he performs outside give him lavish praise and a treat. He will soon get the idea.

*Remember that small puppies cannot control their bladders for more than a few hours. If he does have an accident, mop it up and use a suitable stain and odour-removing product to prevent him regarding the place as a toileting area.

*Do not scold him - he won't understand what he has done wrong..

How do I keep my cat cool in summer?

It's important to keep your cat cool and safe this summer. In particular white and pale-coloured pets are especially vulnerable, as they will require sunscreen on their noses and ear tips to prevent sunburn and skin cancer.
Don’t leave your pet in a parked car and carry water even on short journeys as a precaution. If he starts to pant seek vet assistance immediately.
Always provide your pet with access to shelter from the heat of the sun — indoors and out. Make sure there is some shade and ensure they have plenty of water. Bear in mind that elderly, very young, overweight and poorly pets will have a hard time regulating their body temperature so make sure they stay cool.
Cats with white and pale fur should have sunscreen on their noses and ear tips to prevent sunburn and skin cancer. Ideally you should keep your pet out of the sun between 12noon and 3pm to prevent sunburn.
Keep your pet well groomed – particularly if he has long fur or a thick coat.
Summer is often a time when people fertilize their lawns but beware: plant food, fertilizer and insecticides can be fatal if your pet ingests them.
Fleas are particularly prevalent in summer – avoid infestations with regular flea treatments. Worming your pet is important all year round too, however, for one hookworm in particular Uncinaria stenocephala, there is a sharp rise from July to September. By worming regularly your pet will be protected.
During the hot weather windows and doors are often left open which can lead to pets going missing. Microchips and collars help ensure easy identification if this does happen..
