The parents freaked out that I went on the SUP by myself and laid down. Even though I wear my “lifey” when near the lake, I wasn’t allowed to go off shore due to “the incident“ I had 9 years ago.

Eko is chillaxing after he just got back from our new vet with a clean bill of health-NO kidney failure. If he had a middle finger he said he’d be showing it in this pic to his old vet who tried to take him out in April. Good thing mom said no and waited for a second opinion.

Well, more bad news for the little guy. Doc isn’t sure he will ever heal 😭, but we’re not giving up. Old staples removed, dead tissue removed, more antibiotics, new staples in and a new cast and back for a recheck next week and a blood draw to see if starting him on insulin too might help since he is pre diabetic. 🙏

Wish we had better news. Hurley was initially supposed to get his cast off in 4 days. 16 days later he now has staples in his leg. Poor little frail guy.

Mom’s sweet little boy isn’t doing so good. On top of all his issues, his jerk of a brother bit him, infected his leg, he has to wear a cast and mom has 3 more medications to add to the already 19 our geriatric squad takes. We hope he pulls through 🙏
