Stable Ideas is run by Kaye and Kirstin; A grandmother-granddaughter like team. Our first passion is horses, though we both have a love for arts and crafts. We are ecstatic to share our creations with you. In this shop you may find anything from quilts to paintings, from jewelry to knitted hats, including some fun items for your horse. All items are handmade by one of us. Kaye has had a passion fo

r sewing since she was a little girl. Kaye is an amazing seamstress with a great eye for color. When she is not at the barn with her horses she is up in her craft room sewing up a storm. I am a college student with interests in many fields. My first love is horses and second is crafts. The trouble for me, is finding a focus on what I really would like to do. I want to learn how to make everything and work with many different materials. Kaye is showing me the ropes of sewing and quilting. Eventually I hope to make a quilt and maybe even some clothes. One of my hobbies is making beaded brow bands for horse bridles and will soon bring those to the Etsy shop.
