East Mississippi Animal Rescue sponsors a number of dogs that we feel are highly adoptable. These pets are vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed or neutered for a low fee. Lululemon is an amazing girl. She came into the rescue with her 6 puppies December the 7th from
Byron Ms. She was an amazing mom to them.All her babies are off on an adventure to find their forever home. Unfortunately Lululemon had heartworms she is now treated will need to be retested in 9 months 40 pounds house trained good with other dogs . Leash trained and fully vetted. Would be great with older or younger generations. She tends to be a clean freak she gathers all the toys up and takes them out the pet door. Meet Leia a 20 pound terrier. Female about 3 years spayed up to date with vaccs heartworm negative and had a pro heart shot. She came from a hoarding situation Feb the 15th 2023 . She is ready for that forever home. She very timid so would do great with a dog her size and adult children. She will be a work in progress but has potential. Adoption fee is $150 Eastmsanimalrescue. She so good and so smart.

The first 2 pics of adult dog is mom Lululemon.She is a heeler mix about 45 pounds spayed up to date with vaccs and treated for heartworms. She is nothing but the best dog ever. She around 2 years old never messes her kennel run up. Quite as a mouse walks excellent on a leash. Loves everything she meets she is such a gentle soul. Would work great in a home with another laid back dog and a family that has a lot of love to give.Adoption fee is 175 to an approved adopter . Babies adoption fee are $250 Her and her 6 babies were abandoned in Byron Ms. She took real good care of her babies. Eastmsanimalrescue com for a pre-application. Bozo is just the greatest little dog. He about 20 pounds. He possible some type of dachshund-spaniel mix.He was pulled from the city animal control. Was a stray wandering the city streets. He adores people very active would do best with older children he tends to want to jump and sometimes nips at your face just playing. NO OTHER dogs or cats he has that little dog attitude I am a bad dude. We have tried but HE MUST BE THE ONLY PET. With a little effort and training maybe he will grow out of that. There has to be someone that has a fence area where he can run that energy off and be safe and hang out in the house with them. Meet Bozo he was pulled from the Meridian City Animal Control. Good points he seems to love every human he meets loves belly rubs and snuggles and outside adventures. Bad point is he just doesn’t do other dogs or cats. Not a problem we as humans don’t like everyone we meet. We pretend to like them if we need something but Bozo don’t pretend he is open about his likes and dislikes.He would be great in a home as an only dog and no cats. Would be your shadow bed partner and just an all around companion. He is 10 months to a year 14 pounds and possible a dachshund mix. Long soft and flowing fur. He was a stray roaming the city streets of Meridian where it is best to keep your guard up. Guess you could say he street smart. He neutered heartworm negative and searching for that perfect home. Again no other animals and be best with older children no toddlers he very energetic. Brought into the county shelter as a stray. Pulled by Emar 9-17-24. He about a year old heartworm negative neutered up to date with vaccs. On heartworm and flea preventive. Loves the outdoors and walks on a leash well. Seems to be kennel trained. Accident every now and then. Loves other dogs. Might be a cat chaser. Be wonderful in a home with an active family and outdoor people. He will be good with kids but prefer older kids not toddlers. He pretty strong will kinda like a bull in a China shop. Very loving Is he a standard poodle or a mixed breed doodle who knows. He a dog that needs a loving home. Adoption fee is $250 Knowledge of the breed is a must.
