True story- one time I called Samson to come inside. I heard angry meows so I immediately went to his rescue. His white coat and stocky build made him easy to find and his one blue eye & one green eye are an unmistakable feature. Unfortunately, he was a little ways in the woods so I had to do some hiking. Very odd he kept walking away in the opposite direction! It wasn't until I made it in far enough, I was loosing sight of the woodline to home, that I seen my white chonky cat in our yard! After a double look both ways, I finally discover that big white cat with one blue and one green eye wasn't my cat I was chasing!

I listened to a podcast episode a while back that did convince me with statistics that TNR (Trap, Neuter & Release) was what made the most effective impact on cat overpopulation. AND it is indeed the most humane option available for sentient beings that want to live too.

Meet and Greets need to be scheduled at a minimum of a week before booking, if not two weeks before. This gives us enough time to work through any problems that may arise at our meet and greet before your departure. It's extremely important to read through the service agreement before e-signing. There you'll read any reason I may decline a sitting. Also note that the lockbox policy is in effect for homes that don't have a keypad entry. The lockbox policy eliminates the 15$ key pick-up / drop-off fee. Silly when you can just purchase a lockbox for as low as 20$!

It sure has been an eventful day!😸 If you have kitties afraid of fireworks, make sure they have hidey holes ready for them so they feel as safe as possible. And of course make sure they're inside. Hope everyone has a safe & happy Independence Day!
