Loki is a very handsome Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (surely that’s the longest dog breed name!), who’s super agile when fetching his ball. “Tollers” are a great breed with their soft water resistant coat and webbed feet! 😍

Today Harpo taught me some tricks to deal with his "stop and sniff" habit.
Problem: We were barely moving 10 feet before he'd find a new object that would draw him across for a good ol' whiff 'n sniff. This is a natural behaviour to an extent, but as it was hindering us from getting some valuable exercise in, it needed to be limited.
Solution: A shorter leash (held slack) and me walking between him and his favourite distractions (lamp posts, garden beds, bins) PLUS plenty of praise when he got it right!

Today I hung out with a fellow Victoria Park local - meet Shuri!
Shuri's a big fan of open spaces where she can go from zero > 100 mph in 3 seconds chasing after her fluoro orange ball 🟠
She sure keeps the local squirrel population on the lookout! 🐿️👀

Today the fun and energetic "Buddy the Beagle" took me out for an adventure around East London. He showed me some sights I'd never seen before!
Buddy wears a muzzle because he doesn't always think about what's food and what isn't after an enticing aroma hits his scent-hound nose! We're still working on that! 🐶👃🥙🤷
