Welcome, 2025!!! 🎉✨ Stanislaus (kitty) found the sweetest new home to kick off the year! Mishka, our handsome boy (brown shepherd), now has an older brother to join in on all the shenanigans! And after 177 days, our shy Leva (all black) has found her perfect match—a confident brother and two loving, patient parents. Yay and yippee for these heartwarming new beginnings! 🐾❤️

Here’s an update on a BACS alum, Fresa (formerly Womba):

“We adopted this little one from you back in July. She’s grown quite a bit into a healthy and energetic dog who Loves cuddling with mom and dad. Her new name is Fresa, short for fresita, because mom and dad spoil her and because she’s our little strawberry. She still is socially anxious and barks at strangers even though she just wants treats and pets but we are working on it!

We celebrated her birthday this month based on the date given to us by your vet and she got to enjoy yummy pup cake and new toys.”

Update: Adopted! 😀 Say hello to Miah, a little muppet of a dog with the cutest bug eyes, a curly tail, and a winning smile. Miah is a little shy at first with new people, but with a gentle approach she will be your best friend in no time. She loves to walk and appears to be friendly toward other dogs. But what Miah really wants is to be right by your side, hanging out and getting pets and treats. Once she warms up, she’s a Velcro dog, sticking right with you. She loves chin scritches, too. And as a bonus, she appears already housetrained. Come take Miah home with you and give her all the love she deserves!

This girl is a lover through and through! Francesca is a bubbly young Belgian Malinois who radiates joy and fun wherever she goes! Her favorite things include soaking up pets, basking in snuggles, and in general, getting all the love she can from anyone who will give it to her! Like most Malinois, Francesca is an intelligent, high-energy, young lady who thrives on mental stimulation and physical activity. She’s always up for a game, an adventure, or learning something new, and she’ll need a home that can keep both her mind and body engaged. She loves zooming around the yard, chasing toys— her playful energy is contagious, and she’ll keep you smiling with her silly antics and endless enthusiasm. Meet Copper, a gorgeous husky who is just as sweet as he is handsome. He is very friendly with people and loves getting out for walks and play. He is easy to walk on leash, checking in with his handler and showing his curious side by sniffing things. Copper appears dog-friendly, passing other dogs on leash with no reaction. Copper is also a tri-pod. He had an old pelvic injury that required a back leg amputation, but he doesn’t let it slow him down at all. In fact, he seems much happier to be pain-free. This all means he may not need as much exercise as many huskies. He can be slightly nervous around new things, but adjusts quickly to his surroundings. Copper is loving and affectionate and will make a great family dog. Come meet him at BACS!
