Time and patience. We always knew our girl Chrissy would find the right kinda Hoomans. Yesterday off she went bags packed. A lovely couple have been coming up on weekends taking the time to get to know. All of us at the Hound House look forward to Chrissy stories. She certainly endeared herself to all.
Our guide to the UK. Broke my heart last year didn't see too many Goldies or the Westie pets. Let's hope for a few more this year.
Feeling a wee bit disappointed have not heard from too many people even though there appeared to be a lot of interest in our Girlie Chrissy. She is a fit and healthy hound and needs to be on a couch getting lots of love. If you are interested don;t lave a message or question on the page give me a call 0428722577.
Thanks
Amanda

Sadly Chrissy hasn't yet found her right Hoomans. This wee girlie needs home she has some much love to give and so much character.
PS. Her new home can not have other animals. She is big & little Hooman friendly.
Fingers and paws crossed the weather Gods shine on us for tomorrow. Our wee lass Chrissy is interviewing some Hoomans.
She is such a character.
Our lovely girl Chrissy has returned to the Hound House. The lovely Hooman was just not quite ready to take on a Hound after a loss. She has given us some more insight into our Girlie.
Chrissy is house and lead-trained and loves to sleep on the bed. Has great recall, has wonderful table manners waits for her dinner nicely. She does super-fast crazy zoomies. Loves walks.
If you think you could be the right Hooman for our girl give me a call 0428722577
Thanks Amanda & Chrissy

A very exciting day at the Hound House. Our wee lass Frankie is off to test drive some new Hoomans.
Good morning All.
Happy Mothers to all our Westie Bestie mums.
Last week we had a westie cross join the hound house. Chrissy is 6 years old. This week she will be vet-checked. Once she is given the all-clear we will be looking to rehome or foster asap. She is the most darlin lass and most wonderful with Hoomans however, she is not canine-friendly. Next week we will be seeing some more hounds arrive. As we can't run her with the others it is in her best interest to be with a special Hooman. Give me a call if you think you are that person.
Thanks, Amanda

Hi All
Over the last couple of days, the Hound House has welcomed Corsu, Lana and Frankie. Hambo may have some Hound friends to introduce to you tomorrow. We will just wait and see how everyone is travelling.
Let's hope the weather Gods smile on us this time.
See Ya there
Amanda and the Hounds
Hambo had a bath and Clip today. We both are feeling pretty chuffed. He is going from strength to strength. Skin looking fabulous, weight is great. First photos the day he arrived at 6kg. Last 3 today. now sitting just under 9kg..
He is always going to have scratchy issues, however going to be very manageable.
Amanda & Hambo
PS Don't forget out Post Easter Party on the 14th April
May the Weather Gods be just a little kinder.
All Westies and their Hoomans Welcome.

Quick introduction. Q has arrived. He made his way north on road transport over the weekend. The wee man is a cracker. Q will spend the night in our quarantine area because he arrived at feed time and all the craziness that goes with it. First thing in the morning he will have a bath, clip and we will see what is needed for the skin. His weight is much better than had been expected. As usual, it has been a pleasure to work with AWR. Danielle and I have been doing this now for around 15 years. Big thank you and hugs to Westie Rescue QLD 2IC Corinne Richardson for going and getting our lad. So stay tuned for photos after his Salon tomorrow.
Meet our wee man Scottie. Arrived this morning at the Hound House. For a 14 year old he sure is on the ball. Both he and Wee Jock have the most delightful characters. We are off to the vets on Monday all going well we will be starting the search for the perfect Hoomans to share their twlight years with. Maisie will also have a vet check and I will starting going through my folder for the perfect fit for her. Finger, toes and paws cross the weather Gods keep the rain away so we can organise some meets n greets. Hound House starting to dry out.
Operation Wee Jock has been successfully completed with the arrival of the lad. Jock is the wee man who found himself in the Bundaberg pound. It's has been a wonderful calibration of Rescue groups and Foster Carers. Thank-you Red Collar Rescue and to the super terrific Foster family of Nicole Lynch. Love the Westie Family. Big start to the with Jock arrival, however we will see another new member this coming Thursday the 14 year old Scottie. Looking forward to getting to know these lads. Scottie, Wee Jock and Maisie have vet appoint next Monday for a once over. Hambo update. Super happy with his progress given the current weather conditions. He has quite surprised us and is moving forward nicely. Stay warm and dry From All at the Hound House
Hambo update. The wee lad had a bath today and we had to clip him back. Skin is looking super terrific. Practically all the yeast has gone and skin is soft. He has amazed us with the turn around. Its now time to let the coat grow. His weight is perfect.
Our man Hambo. The improvement has been incredible. Has had his bath this week and looking dapper. We still have some yeaston the skin, however the skin is changing colour a very good sign. Ears are clear. The heat that was radiating from his body has dropped significantly. He is starting to get fuzz coming through another indicator the skin has no permanent damage. So all in all the wee man is grand.
