Hi Everyone 😘😘😘

I'm a 5 year old Murray River Retriever and I'm looking for my new Forever Home and Family 🧐

I'm a girl and I've been desexed 🥳🥳

I'm up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick/worm treatments ☺️

I'm in Queensland ATM but I can move to anywhere in Australia for my perfect new Forever Home.

I walk on a loose lead and I have basic obedience training.

I do not want to live with young children, I find them annoying 🙃😁

I can live with another dog but you will have to give me time to settle in with the other dog.

Even though I walk on a loose lead, I can be dog reactive whilst I'm on my lead so Jen says I need some desensitize training to stop me being reactive...

I'm in a hurry to find my new family and home but I won't settle for a second home an you have to promise me that you'll take me for walks, let me come inside and give me lots of yummy treats 😁🥰

The 2 brothers have found their absolute Perfect New Forever Home in South Australia together ❤️ 💙

I couldn't have asked for a better New Perfect Forever Home and Family for these boys 🥰🥰

A HUGE thank you to Michelle and Jamie for opening their hearts and Home and welcoming these 2 boys into their family.

Without people like Michelle & Jamie and the other 178 Families who have opened their hearts and Homes and welcomed a Murray or two or three or more into their families, my job of finding all these Murrays their Perfect New Forever Homes & Families would be a lot more harder than what it is.

Both walk on lead ok although they are mainly on property and don't lead walk often.
Both boys have basic obedience.

A huge THANK YOU to Keith and Trish Nicholson for helping me out and picking up this young man (Murray) and having him at their house overnight while waiting for transport to his Perfect New Forever Home and Family.....🥰😘
This was an extremely sad rehome for 'Murray' the Murray, as his Family loves him so very much and always will....🫶
Mark and Family, my heart and thoughts are with you all at your extremely devasting and chaotic time....I wish you all , nothing but the best...Sending healing and best wishes to you Mark, Tracey and the kids....Again, if you need anything at all, PLEASE just ask.....Most of the 'Murray' community are genuinely fantastic people and all of us would be more than willing to help you guys out as much as we can...

❗️The problem here is: we don't know who owns the dog so we can't speculate "if it's just on a walk by itself" or 'if it's been dumped or if it's a 'lost dog'.
The original person who put the original post up has never seen this dog before up until a month ago and she lives there and took the pic from her security camera. She has never seen this dog with any person.
Some Murrays that aren't cared for and that get very scruffy, like this one, look like they are well fed when infant, under all that curly, scruffy hair is just skin and bones. Murrays have come to me looking like they are 40kg+ but once I wash and groom them, they are well under 20kg. I know this because I've rescued and rehomed over 150 Murrays.
Other people who live in the area have also never seen this Murray previous to the last few weeks.
I hope those who speculate the Murray is 'just out for a walk' have hit the nail on the head. But, if no one in the area knows it or it's owners and until we can catch it and get it's microchip read (hopefully it has a M/C), we are not going to know.
I'm hoping whoever owns it comes forward and let's me know or someone catches it and gets the M/C read so we can all know for certain and make sure that Murray is safe.

I'm a good girl but will need a home where I am the only dog as I did get jealous of a new dog (puppy) coming into my home and I really told him off as I like my human/s to myself 😁

I'm house trained 😇

I'm good with older children and adults 😇 I'm not sure on the little children as I've never lived with them.

I love to go for walks and I play retrieve if you have two balls, if you only have one ball, I'd rather you play a game of chasey with me 🙃

I really really really need to find my new home ASAP because I'm staying with a friend ATM who can only have me untill the end of the week and then I'll be homeless 😟🥺😢
