We were very strict that Callie could not go with other dogs/ cats or small animals since she constantly went after them.Callie came back to us as third party. Callie is great with people and very well mannered we really need a foster for her asap! Theodore still hasn’t had one single app or person interested:(
He is in his snazzy surgery suit bc he refused to let any cone stay on him. He actually enjoys when he gets this put on 🤣. This docile boy is proving himself everyday to be a well mannered gentleman. He’s been great with the cats, still very limited time around the dogs. We do know he will resource guard his crate when he has food but he only did it on time and that was when Dimitri shoved his way past us to greet him during dinner time. We do know he is sad and would like more one on one attention:( so if you can’t adopt please consider fostering. He loves to cuddle, he sits and gives you the puppy smolder at all times.
I’d estimate him roughly between 3-5 years old. He has very nice teeth and doesn’t have over the top puppy energy. He lets you do whatever with him he’s just happy to get attention. He had really bad, separation anxiety the first week he was with us but ultimately calmed down and doesn’t mind being left alone. Dear Mom and Dad,

Let me stay home. It's not nice for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So, I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to. All while I feel my paws burning.

Even as little as 5 minutes can be fatal to me and to my paws. I sweat through my paws, and in the heat, I just cannot get rid of the sweat. My whole body starts boiling, but I’ll keep going because I am as loyal as loyal comes. When you look at me panting and moving around you think I’m excited to be out here walking or running with you and I am, I promise you I am, but it’s more that I can’t cool off and my feet are in severe pain. My paws are literally cooking.

By the time we have gotten home my paws have been burning the entire duration we were out, my tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of.

You know when you ask if I want to go for a walk or a run I will instantly jump up and want to go because I love you so much and I love these activities but I also don’t know what awaits me. I depend on you to know what’s in my best interest. So instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, somewhere in the shade. A cool area with grass would be best.

With all the love I have in the whole world - I give it all to you - Love your dog. 💙🐾🐾🐾🐾❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
