Johnnie injured a hind leg as a younger girl and has had a limp and quivering of the muscles ever since. Laser and acupuncture have calmed and the nerve and allowed the quivering to stop, letting her be active and feel good while playing with her friends. Johnnie is quite an anxious girl but does very well with her treatment sessions. She always has her eyes on Mom as this picture shows!

Bo (right) is a 10 year-old gentle giant and started showing symptoms of a degenerative myelopathy last year. That means he has spinal cord disease and his back legs became more and more wobbly as it progressed, making it hard for him to get around and keep his balance. Medications don’t typically help much with this type of disease and didn’t with him either, but acupuncture and laser therapy are helpful and made a big difference for Bo. His gait and balance improved as the disease process slowed down and his owners were happy to see him enjoying life again! Sweet Bo is pictured with his younger and very playful brother Ash on the left. 💙

This year has been a difficult one but we are going to spend today cherishing those here with us. We are going to relish in the good times that we had. Duke is a very special boy who works for a living and is needed at home to help move livestock. When a sudden injury left his hind legs unable to move and medications weren’t helping, his owners were afraid he would never work or even walk again. With the help of acupuncture, laser, and his very diligent owners, he is not only walking but back to working livestock! (Shown during his dry needling/electroacupuncture session)

Cal is healing after a knee injury and doing great thanks to his attentive owners! He has already been able to stop taking pain meds and muscle relaxers and continues to improve with regular laser therapy and acupuncture.

When dogs limp, their body weight is shifted out of balance. This often causes muscle strain in the neck and back and leads to injuries in another limb.

Here, he is happily licking peanut butter out of a Kong during his session!

Gr**go is 9 and was having trouble getting comfy on the bed, had stopped laying on the floor and was stiff and slowing down. After several laser and acupuncture treatments, this happy boy has more comfort and mobility and has started laying on the floor again!
