Once again we would like to do a huge thank you to Minnesota Basset Rescue for transporting the three lovely ladies we picked up yesterday and Countryside Kennels in Port Byron for boarding them for the night. The sweet girls made it to Dwight Veterinary Clinic this morning and will go through vetting the next couple of days. It takes a community and we are very fortunate for the one we have! As always, any donation is appreciated (whether monetary, transport assistance, fostering, and etc). Even if these lovely ladies didn't catch your interest; there are a lot more bassets who are seeking a furever loving home. Please adopt, don't shop (unless at our GABR - Guardian Angel Basset Rescue store 😉).

Today is a big day for the QC/ Iowa branch of GABR; as we are doing our first transport! We have three female bassets coming in from Oklahoma and will be making their way to Dwight by Tuesday morning. Stay tuned for our live feed coming this evening so you guys can meet these lovely ladies!

Good day all! Looking to bring your attention to events coming up for our main branch, Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, one being the Paint Party (https://www.bassetrescue.org/paint-party) and Pictures with Santa (TBA). Highly encouraged to join because it is always a great time!

Good day! We beyond appreciate the interest we have received for helping GABR expand into Iowa. We would like to have a face to face meeting (would be willing to Zoom people in). Preferably on a Saturday whether morning or whatever time works for everyone. We need a venue to meet at; any suggestions? Just the basset parents for now and then we will find a place for the furbabies to all get acquainted soon. Please feel free to share as always and give suggestions!
