Taking advantage of a quiet weekend to start building out my new enclosures from tamuradesigns. While frustrating at times, repti-scaping is my moment of zen and I can get lost for hours in branch and plant placement.

Spent the evening making food for my feeders. I’m pretty sure they eat better than I do. 😁. Heathy gutload makes healthy feeders that make happy and healthy F. lateralis!

I keep some fresh for the next few days and freeze the rest in silicon ice cube trays. Quick and easy to defrost when I need it.

It’s shaping up to be a great 2024 at Hidden In Plain Sight!

Twas the night before Christmas, in a deli cup so fine, Carpet chameleon eggs nestled, awaiting their time, The hatchlings awaited, in colors yet unseen,
On this magical Christmas Eve, a festive reptilian dream.

With scales like ornaments, they began to appear, Adding hues to the season, spreading joy and cheer. A dash of excitement, a pinch of delight,
Carpet chameleons hatching, a wondrous sight.

In the terrarium, a festive display,
As they joined the holiday in their own special way. So, rejoice in the magic of this silent night, Carpet chameleons emerging, oh what a delight!

Another gaggle of carpet chameleons hatched! This clutch will now allow me to be able to offer unlelated pairs in mid-February.

It’s absolutely amazing how small they are when they hatch.
