I've been very slack over the summer with keeping the Maverick page updated! Now that we're in May I'm back down south and have begun work on my Ph.D., which is pretty exciting. Meanwhile, I'm already starting to get excited about next season's foals!

For sale! Great allrounder, showjumping, and showhunter horse. 15.1hh 13yo mare. Great first hack. Competed to 1.10m in jumping and showhunter with placings. I think that she would event great too. Fantastic pony for sale! 148cm 6yo mare. Very cool jumper with enough capability for a confident young rider to continue to produce up the levels. Jumping to 1.10m at home with a couple of jumps at 1.20/1.25m. Super quiet and easy to handle, was fabulous for her first clip. Great to hack on the buckle. Genuine quality pony. $12k neg

Attractive and Talented Young Pony for sale!!
3yo black gisborne bred pony mare. Approximately 14-14.1hh, a little growing still to do. Very attractive - true black with a blingy face and straight, strong conformation. Excellent legs and feet. One of the most obliging young horses I've had to work with, always happy to work. Quiet enough to ride on the buckle, not spooky, and easy to hack out but not at all a kick along. Plenty of energy and character to make her a very special pony. No concerns leaving her for a few weeks and hopping straight back on, no rear, buck, etc.. No dirt. Nice movement with a big loping canter. Limited jumping due to her age but she has plenty of scope and is careful and natural over fences. Pops over all sorts of fill with no worries.
Lots of potential to be a star in a number of spheres: showjumping, showhunter, eventing, pony club, and hunting. Spunky enough to have a heap of fun with kids just being kids too.
Does everything that I could expect of a 3yo - confidently walks, trots and canters on the flat and starting to understand contact - very quick learner. Very responsive to go forward and stop. Picks up correct canter leads easily. Jumps in a rhythm and stays straight. All the work that has been put into her has been done by professionals and just needs ticking over to come out next year as a 4yo. A fantastic pony for a confident kid to produce and have fun with over the next several years. Currently shod and in light work. Had her first clip a few weeks ago.

Took four horses to Woodhill this weekend and although we had some torrential downpours (almost expecting them now!), it was a good show for them all. LR Ruegar MSH was 3rd in Young Rider and Detailed MSH placed 6th in the Grand Prix Super Series. Danny (Astek Danzing MSH) jumped like the epitome of a "pocket rocket" in his classes and Chloe (Wimborne Constanz MSH) handled the monsoon conditions well, when she jumped her rounds. Great team to travel with!

Very exciting night last night! Vive le Rêve MSH (Ramirez x Silent Hunter XX) had a very pretty chestnut (will grey out) filly by Cassiano (Cassini x Calypso)! We have called her Caszira MSH, and seeing as mum is called Raisin she seems to be going by Sultana at home!
