We posted this a while back but as it is continuing to be shared so we have decided to post again......
Her life will last for as long as her body manages to hold out. Litter after litter with minimal or no medical care will take its toll, and she will die, probably without having ventured more than 10 feet from the spot she was born.
The Puppy Farmer can't understand the fuss, he will say, "That isn't cruel - she knows no different". But if he really believed his words, he would allow visitors to his farm.
No, she'll die without hearing a kind word, without even feeling grass under her paws and like the majority of her kin, she has never seen the sky. She has lived her life in constant fear, that fear broken only by that very short feeling of love she has lavished onto her babies, before they are taken away from her. Maybe she'll be one of the very few that go to a rescue, maybe her fear will lessen and she'll learn to control her bladder when a human approaches, maybe one day she'll learn how to run.
