Yesterday I brought my dog Gino to the vet because he vomited 9 times in two hours. After three hours in the vet and multiple tests later, the vet diagnosed him with being poisoned by his dog food. Gino had eaten purina healthy weight food the day prior. The vet also advised me that he is the sixth dog to have gotten sick by eating the same exact food. I took to the internet to find out he was not the only pup to have gotten sick. Turns out there was a class action suit back in 2015. In 2016 a judge dismissed the suit indicating that purina's food did no wrong to any animal. This is absurd and something needs to change. We need to make all the doggy parents aware that this food is dangerous and hurts our animals. We need to make sure purina takes their dog food off the shelves. Please share this page and any experience you may have had with this food. Please also be aware that the food doesn't always bring on sudden onset of illness, but there are long term affects on animals such as liver disease. Let's get the word out there!!!
