We made it to the competition and the first class is already done!
We had our youth trail pattern this morning and V had a good, clean pattern. I’m very happy with how she handled herself, especially because there are 47 other youth horses for her to get distracted by and want to be with. Lets see how she does with her handling next!
V had her first show today!
I entered her into a showmanship class to see how she would do in a show environment and she handled herself really well. Other than being a fidgety baby for her inspection, I was extremely proud of how she did!
To people who may be interested in her; she will be available following the Tennessee EMM in Franklin, TN. If you want any information on her please feel free to message me!
V had a fun today doing some obstacles in the arena!
This was only her third time down to the arena and she has been handling herself so well. She’s taken almost every obstacle I’ve shown her is stride and is very willing when trying new things. She’s been making it very hard to not fall in love with her this past week 😅
Little clip from our leading session today!
V has been taking everything that I throw at her in stride. We’ve been working a lot of leading lately, as well as allowing me to run all over her with my hand and some round pen work. Hoping to work on picking up feet these next couple of days!
With only two weeks left before we leave for Ocala, and no updates since I picked Andrei up, I’m finally getting around to posting.
There are few horses that I can say I’ve truly bonded with throughout the training process, however, Andrei is definitely one of those horses. He is so sweet on the ground and is always looking to please. He is available if anyone is looking, please reach out if you are interested and have any questions. There will be more updates on him throughout the days leading up to the competition.
