Video #2, this is Fodor trying to get away from me and my nasty syringe. Totally heartbreaking to watch.
I made a decision to not make Fodor suffer hoping for a miracle. I should've made the decision earlier but if you've had a pig this big suffering, it's just heartbreaking to watch. He's dehydrated, now won't take the syringe water, meds nothing. Super shallow breaths and another record breaking hot weekend. Hoping I can get an emergency PTS appointment.
Thank you everyone for all your texts of support, concern and offers for help! Doc Parker thinks it's a back issue with some kind of secondary neuropathy so we'll stay with the prednisone for another week. He has absolutely no use of his back legs now. When he turns side to side, they just drag under him. He's still not eating but will take a little syringe liquids so I'm mixing the water from softened food with his meds and he gave me a nice poop today! I'm not holding out much hope but as long as he lets me syringe feed him, I'm gonna keep trying. Maybe miracles do happen. Hoping for one for my Fodor.
Fodor's not walking yet but he's finally eating out of his bowl. Will still need to syringe meds tho, I don't think he's getting anything at the bottom of the bowl. Mostly just wants water but it's a great step forward with Vegas staying in the 110+ temps!

My worst nightmare. My 350 lb Fodor has Dippity Pig Syndrome. Hope it's a 24 hour episode cause it's muggy hot!
