Update on Outlaws training. Some videos to come…

At 16 weeks old

Commands he’s got down
Sit, come, stay, okay “release”, here “heel”, kennel, outside, and leave it.

Commands we are still working on
Shake, lay down, load up, up up, spin, drop it, easy, fetch, find it, touch and speak.

Leash trained and walks well off leash.
Has out grown the play pen
Doesn’t cry in kennel and prefers to sleep in kennel.

Socialization

Other dogs
Small female puppy, small and large adult male dogs, small adult female dog and played well with all.

People
Still skittish of random people.
Very skittish of children.
Likes elderly people.

Happy late Halloween from Outlaw and I we had a blast at Goldie’s Halloween night. His training is coming along great!

He wasn’t scared of the vacuum. He went in his play pen on his own and is taking a nap.

He knows his name and come.
We are working on leash training, sit on command, fetch. His Potty training has been good so far. He peed on the puppy pad this morning and pooped 2x outside.

The neighbors dogs were barking so it was kind of distracting as well as the neighbor is working on his dirt bike so he got scared for a second.

8 weeks old.

He came home with a bag of puppy food and his vaccine record. We got his kennel with a bed and cover set up. We got his play pen set up with his food and water dish and puppy pads. Will have a bed and toys later. He got his first toy from his aunt, it’s a tire with a blue and red rope.

He woke up he immediately had an accident on the bed. We took him outside and played for an hour. Then after food and water it was nap time again.

The first thing we did was wash him. He wasn’t scared of the water, the blow dryer scared him at first but he did get used to it and even let me blow dry his belly. Then we took a nap.

On the drive home from camping he slept in many positions but the console seems to be his favorite spot.

We decided crate training would start tomorrow when we got home from camping 😹 But in the mean time we were very entertained by his howling.

September 3rd, Outlaw and his litter mate made a surprise appearance during the family camping at Angel Lake. They went on a hike with 10 people and 4 dogs. They walked most of it but luckily got to be carried some of the way.

August 23rd, Outlaw was 5 weeks and 3 days. He knows his name and got to enjoy some Venison.

August 13th, we got to see and hold Outlaw. Crazy how much he’s grown. He is 1 month and 3 days old here.
