This week, we welcomed five pups to NYC from Korea! We are so thankful to our amazing adopters who opened up their hearts and homes to save these k-pups. Welcome home Oakley, Clara, Prince, Sailor, and Indie!

FOSTERS IN CALIFORNIA (LAX) NEEDED!

Meet Thumper and Mrs. Rabbit!

These female puppies are a Golden Retriever / Labrador mix, which means they are not only adorable but have inherited the best traits from both breeds.

They are currently located in Korea where they were born to a family on Juju Island. Their owner surrendered them after no longer being able to care for them and their six other puppy siblings.

They will be coming into LAX on April 15 and are in need of fosters who can give them love and affection while we look to find them forever homes. The puppies will be 4 months old and about 15 pounds at that time. If you are able to foster, please reach out to us by emailing [email protected].

We are so excited for Alice in Wonderland (now Lyla) who arrived in the warm and loving arms of her new dad, Marcos, last night!

We are so excited to be able to have such an incredible community of dog lovers that are willing to go the extra mile for our k-pups. Lyla is the first of 4 dogs to arrive home in the next week and we cannot wait to share all of these dogs incredible stories!

Huge thank you to our South Korea based coordinator Riwon, Marcos, and all of the amazing Waldo’s volunteers - we can’t wait to continue to see our k-pup program grow! 💕

Her fairy tale began when she was rescued from the streets and underwent emergency surgery after a car accident. Despite the ordeal, she remains remarkably gentle and bright, shining with resilience and love. This brave girl would thrive as the only dog in her new forever home, where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. Strega Nona is both crate trained and house trained, making her an excellent candidate for indoor living. She sheds very little, making her a low-maintenance furry friend in terms of grooming. With her moderate energy level, Strega Nona adores going for walks with her human companions. She walks beautifully on a leash, making strolls a delightful experience for both of you.

💕 MEET PRINCESS ANASTASIA 💕

Despite the hardships she faced after being rescued from an illegal meat farm in South Korea, Anastasia's spirit remains unyielding, and she has so much love that she cannot wait to give to her forever family. Anastasia is a true outdoor enthusiast, and playtime in the great outdoors is where her joy truly shines. She loves running, exploring, and indulging in the wonders of nature. Just like the brave and adventurous princess herself, Anastasia is always up for exciting escapades and fun-filled activities!

She is best described as playful, energetic and smart. One look into her bright and soulful eyes, and you'll see the resilience and love that fills her heart. Despite her past, Anastasia holds no grudges and adores spending time with people. Her loving nature shines through, and she's sure to bring warmth and happiness to the hearts of all who meet her.

💛MEET PRINCE PHILLIP💛

Warning ‼️ CUTE PUPPY INCOMING ‼️
Prince Phillip is a Samoyed/Jindo mix. He was born to his mother after she was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea. His mother was being raised for meat but was rescued from there and gave birth in a temporary shelter. Currently, he is in foster care in South Korea working on his training and socialization as he grows.

He is best described as playful, affectionate, and curious. He’s got real puppy energy, clocking in at about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. He does well with baths, doesn’t experience any motion sickness and is not a super picky eater. He rarely ever barks and is well behaved and super smart! He even knows basic commands like “Sit,” “Shake” and “Wait”.
Weight: 21 lbs, expected to be about 40lb fully grown
Age: 5 Months

👑 MEET PRINCESS & THE PEA🫛

This adorable Jindo/Border Collie Mix was rescued from a difficult situation, finding a new chance at a happy life. Along with her mom, Cinderella, who is also available for adoption through Waldo’s K-Pups, Princess & The Pea was rescued from the illegal meat trade. She now longs for a forever home where she can live with other dogs and revel in the joy of companionship and play.

She isn’t a big barker and is great walking on a leash. She has a great appetite and loves meal time. She is best described as timid, gentle and friendly.

♥️ MEET LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD ♥️

Just like her namesake, Little Red Riding Hood has had quite the journey. As a young puppy, her mother was tragically killed while living on the streets. After her mother passed, she was rescued along with her puppy siblings. Now, she is looking for her very own happily ever after!

This energetic and cheerful pup loves to frolic and play with her doggy friends, much like the adventurous Little Red Riding Hood journeying through the woods. She is super adaptable and would be a great fit as your one and only dog OR as the perfect addition to a family looking to give their current dog/dogs a new best pal. She does great on a leash and is a quiet pup who doesn’t have any tendencies to bark! As your loyal companion, she'll be your constant sidekick, ready to face the world with boundless enthusiasm.

🧡 MEET JAFAR 🧡

Jafar's journey has been one of resilience. He was discovered at a construction site tied to a leash that was less than 3 feet long, surviving on scraps and stale bread. He was abandoned and his world was sadly confined to that small space. Jafar had an early stage heartworm infection, which he bravely battled through treatment and is now declared healthy.

Despite the hardships he faced, Jafar has made leaps and bounds. He is now ready to find a forever family to call his own! He is great with people, and will become friendly if he is approached slowly when first meeting new people. He can be timid and cower around younger children who are too excited, so would do best in a home with older children or adults. He is good with female dogs, but can be timid and afraid around other male dogs - however, he does get along very well with a male puppy in his foster home!

Unlike the Aladdin villain, this Jafar is best described as gente, playful and affectionate. He is a quiet dog who doesn’t find himself barking or howling often. He does well in cars and prefers to go potty outdoors!

🩵MEET HANSEL🩵

Hansel is an adorable little guy and one of four lucky puppies rescued from a tangerine farm on Jeju Island, Korea. With his heart full of joy and hope, he's eagerly waiting to find his forever family and become a cherished member!

Hansel is best described as happy, friendly and adaptable. We suspect him to be some type of Shiba Inu/Lab mix! He is a very quick learner and has mastered both crate and house training, and even shed very moderately, so your home will stay s***k and span even with this cool dude around. He does great in cars, and will happily ride along on any adventures or just to run quick errands.

He finds joy in life's simple pleasures—playing with toys, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his human family. When his family needs to leave, he is sure to hang tight and be just fine as he doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety. He is a social butterfly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Living on a short leash, she's a bit timid around leashes, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying the wonders of the world.

This sweet girl adores going on walks and finds pure bliss in taking refreshing baths. When she's not out exploring, Dorthey loves to rest on her knees, enjoying every moment of comfort. But wait, there's more to her enchanting story! Dorthey is a ball enthusiast! The moment she spots a ball, she's enchanted by its spell and can't resist playing with it.

Social and friendly with other dogs, Dorthey's calm and quiet demeanor indoors makes her a delightful companion. However, she does have a unique requirement - a careful diet.
