So happy to see Shiba having made a full recovery and back to her usual antics and playfulness after many weeks of TLC, deep wound dressings after her surgery.

She will coming up to 12 years in April ❤️

Our girl Shiba was diagnosed with a subcutaneous infiltrative haemangioma. Fortunately it was benign which gave us hope.

Thanks to our vet and our trust in him we opted for surgical removal rather than a risky amputation being 11 yrs old.

We did the dressings ourselves with instructions from our vet and are so pleased that after nearly 7 weeks of dressings and other precautions the wound is almost completely heeled and Shiba is happy as!

Our thanks to Dr Rob at Eureka Veterinary Practice and his team for his excellent skills, bedside manner and confidence in us as owners and us in him as a vet.
