Woody has been part of G G's furmily for two weeks today. Every one is doing well and getting along with all of the furiends. He is growing so fast. It is great to get to be able to have a puppy here to keep.

Today we started to learn about the doggie door. He's so little and determined. I lifted the flaps and called. The outside step is pretty tall. He's up and in. I dropped the inside flap so he could push through.
He has become part of G G's crew and is doing well so with the furiends here.

My adopted daughter and I took a road trip to the high desert of Southern CA. (see the Joshua Tree in the background)To get a "I Shih Tzu Not" puppy from Rachelle Mc Carty.
G G is officially introducing Mr. Dogwood or Woody for short to the Tansy furmily.

Hey friends.
Today Izzy and I had a visit to see Dr. Singh. Her yearly breeding heat will be in the next few months. We got a general health check and necessary shots. All is great. We are looking forward to her next litter.

Hello friends,
It has been a week today since the last puppies went to their forever families.
I am so happy to say that I really enjoyed the puppy process for these two litters. I had wondered how I would feel ~ now that I am alone and my circumstances have changed so drastically. I had intentionally taken a year off to attempt to find some emotional health after the loss of my husband. These litters were kind of a test for me to see if I would choose to continue to breed.
As I was working on the AKC registration packets and fixing my Breeders.net page. I came across a noteworthy idea. It said in part "Good breeders don't just breed good dogs, they educate."
I thought about how those words fit for me. Yes, I am a good breeder, I do have beautiful little puppies that have made great pets for many families. But I also think that it is so important that my new families are well informed.
Breeding these precious little furballs is such a great privledge that I value and will happily continue.
And best part is I will continue to make new friends because of my sweet little puppies.

The last three girls left G G today. Empty pen with no one to pull the cats leg or bat the swinging toys.
Noli will get her easy chair back and I have a bit of paperwork to ready for the AKC registrations to be processed.
I will post the new family pics in the next few days. G G has wonderful new friends that will be forever family to her furiends.
Next litter is projected for September.
It will be a litter from Izzy.
I look forward to a good size litter with lots of great colors.

G G takes care of herself with pawsititivy. I had to go out and get a few last things for the three girls that are left and leaving this weekend. I underestimated the amount of canned puppy food to send with the new families. Oops, yeah for Petsmart....

I wanted to share a bit of the puppy play from Rosie's litter. Today is the last day that they will all be together. Bandit is leaving the crew this morning.
Puppy play is such fun to watch.

Hello friends.
Today was the first day out to get their shots, worming treatments, exams and Health Certificates from Dr Singh.
Despite the Corona Virus the furiends went and got their individual appointments one at a time while I stayed in the van. We got to meet a sweet new technician that was so helpful for us all. G G is so grateful to Dr. Singh for his care of the furiends. He sent his hellos although today I didn't get to see him in person.
All of the puppies are clear to go in the next week. Some will be 8 weeks in 4 days and the others will be 8 weeks next Tuesday.
It will be quieter at G G's very soon.

Happy Saturday. Lunch is fun with puppies. They have eaten enough to walk away and do some socialization. I love watching them clean each other.

Yesterday was Rosie's puppies big day. We moved them into the backroom and they began the weaning process. They were pretty quiet for the first day. It was such a huge change from my closet.

Milestone Monday.
Noli's litter has a new nest and started weaning today. It is always fun to see the first reactions. Someone usually really gets into it. They took to the water fast. At the end of a big first day they are together in a sweet pile in their bed like usual.

Hello friends of our furmily here at GG's. Noli is now a mommy. Sunday night she had 6 beautiful puppies. 3girls and 3 boys. They all are healthy little squeekers.
Rosie will have her litter any day now.

Happy Thursday friends.
Todd went out this morning for a visit with Dr. Singh for his teeth cleaning. Dr. Singh takes such great personal interest for our furmily. It was good to get to say hi today and give him a hug of appreciation when Todd got picked up.

Then our Thursday afternoon was so special for G G because Otis stayed and went to dinner with us. We love creating our pizza. Otis ate his whole pizza and asked for more.
G G really loves her grandkids, great grands and her furmily.
