Monday morning departures and I’m so grateful Tammy works Monday mornings with me now🩷Dogs are leaving, dogs are arriving, and we are cleaning as fast as they are moving in and out. That looks like, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, washing pools, scooping p**p, changing garbage, feeding dogs, clearing up and washing dishes after dogs , and packing up everybody’s stuff to ship them out ! Whew 😥 and Yes we do vacuum your dog beds before they leave lol. 🥰🐾

Back in June we did our first training classes with Ashley from Malleable Mutts Dog Training. Joyce and Bunny were two of our brilliant participants. I brought sweet Missy out to partake in the last open session. She was so curious and excited to be in school🤩🐾😊. Everyone got to meet her and loved her! Last night Joyce and Bunny (and sister Snowy) sent Missy a donation for her medical expenses!! We are so grateful 🙏🏻 thank you 🥰

Angels with fur

Many years ago I rescued a badly burned kitten for the SPCA; the story went public and a contest held to name her. She became Angel, and also, a part of my family for two sweet years of life before losing her battle with feline leukemia. I decided then, that if I ever realised my dream of opening a boarding kennel it would be named Angel Lane.

Fast forward to 2017 and with the tragic loss of my beloved Moe Dog I decided I needed to do something to create a legacy in his name. At the time Canadians were reeling from the shock of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy and as I watched Red Cross Compassion dogs walk the packed funeral services an idea was born to create “Moe’s Angels”: A foundation that will support compassion dogs trained to work with trauma victims, particularly women and children of domestic violence.

Now, here we are. Angel Lane has come to life; compassionate care and boarding for family pets on 20 acres of heaven on earth. How the rest comes to life I don't know yet, but I have faith it will all come together in one amazing compassionate movement!
