It’s cold. 🥶 and it’s kind of a cruel joke when my first opened eyes this morning saw the large number of -14 on my phone. Only to focus a few minutes later and realize it’s actually -22 with the wind.🥶🤷🏻‍♀️🤨🤮
There is a lot of them🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 
They are borrrrred🤣🤷🏻‍♀️
Amazing what a few degrees difference can make. Turned off the heat, open the door, and away they went.🐕🐩🐕‍🦺🦮🥤💗

FYI;  we are at capacity until early March. That means no matter how bad I feel having to say no. There is no more space at the Inn. 😊🙏🏻💕

Sweet Gladys and cheeky Eddie left for their homes yesterday. Double D’s (Duke and Diesel) arrived, along with sweet senior Finnie. And then the day carried on with navigating the cold.  I am no longer considering yesterday as February 1 but rather the day I walked to the kennel 4000 times. 🥶😖😂🐕💕 🥤

Well. Rookie and Houston came today for a meet and greet and decided they would like to be Angel Lane pups. 🐕🥰🐕
They are my last meet and greet until spring when we resume taking new clients.
As it is, we are rolling into a full house weekend again. Here’s hoping the weather holds. 🙏🏻🌟

Winter continues🥶. Eddie is settling in slowly, and with enough treats, I can actually get him into the building and back in his kennel 🤣🤣Gladys arrives this morning  and Annie for a daycare day.
P**a gave me a fabulous start to the morning having had a very upset tummy overnight in her kennel😖💩💩
Since I’m all about gut Health, I’m drinking a lot of happy juice, and P**a is on the rice and pumpkin protocol 🎃 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️🙌 🥤

Angels with fur

Many years ago I rescued a badly burned kitten for the SPCA; the story went public and a contest held to name her. She became Angel, and also, a part of my family for two sweet years of life before losing her battle with feline leukemia. I decided then, that if I ever realised my dream of opening a boarding kennel it would be named Angel Lane.

Fast forward to 2017 and with the tragic loss of my beloved Moe Dog I decided I needed to do something to create a legacy in his name. At the time Canadians were reeling from the shock of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy and as I watched Red Cross Compassion dogs walk the packed funeral services an idea was born to create “Moe’s Angels”: A foundation that will support compassion dogs trained to work with trauma victims, particularly women and children of domestic violence.

Now, here we are. Angel Lane has come to life; compassionate care and boarding for family pets on 20 acres of heaven on earth. How the rest comes to life I don't know yet, but I have faith it will all come together in one amazing compassionate movement!
