Holy moly dogs!🐕 Meet n greets with sweet Jack yesterday and cutie pie Annie today-both made the AL team🥰🐾 Today we had dogs coming and going, Tammy took Missy home for a shine ✨ and then I took her for her checkup with Dr. Stacey to find him absolutely amazed at how well she is doing. 💖There is no exterior signs that her tumours are progressing, her weight has gone up and her coat is in beautiful condition. Gums and teeth look good too.😍😉
Returned Missy back to the zoo and drove Annie home. It’s 🍕 time! ☺️

Missy is wishing for a real home this Christmas 🎄. A home where she gets to sleep at the foot of somebody’s bed 😴 and hang out in the kitchen where all the good smells are. 🥘 A home where someone gives her daily snuggles, put on her pretty pink leash and takes her for actual walks. 💕🐾
She has now been at Angel Lane for six months and while she still loves everybody, I see small signs of kennel fatigue on this sweet little dog. Her full story is pinned on our page and she’s going for a check up this Friday to see where we are at with her health as she does not show one single sign that she is not 100% healthy. 🥰🐾🥰

Angels with fur

Many years ago I rescued a badly burned kitten for the SPCA; the story went public and a contest held to name her. She became Angel, and also, a part of my family for two sweet years of life before losing her battle with feline leukemia. I decided then, that if I ever realised my dream of opening a boarding kennel it would be named Angel Lane.

Fast forward to 2017 and with the tragic loss of my beloved Moe Dog I decided I needed to do something to create a legacy in his name. At the time Canadians were reeling from the shock of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy and as I watched Red Cross Compassion dogs walk the packed funeral services an idea was born to create “Moe’s Angels”: A foundation that will support compassion dogs trained to work with trauma victims, particularly women and children of domestic violence.

Now, here we are. Angel Lane has come to life; compassionate care and boarding for family pets on 20 acres of heaven on earth. How the rest comes to life I don't know yet, but I have faith it will all come together in one amazing compassionate movement!
